Good points. Food was varied and restaurant was clean when we stayed. If you spoke and smiled at the staff they were always friendly and helpful back. Reception was helpful and again friendly as were the bar staff. Close to the beach and water park. Entertainment crew tried hard with limited resources. Bad points. House keeping was not great. Our floor was swept once in the week. Beds weren’t changed and only one change of towels. Bathroom was only cleaned once, we knew this as the same tooth paste marks were there every day and the soap ring in the shower. Pool area had tiles missing and was always cloudy. You have to put your towels out at 6.30 if you want to sit where you can keep an eye on your children in the pool. Drinks were poor unless you paid extra. Would I go back, I think not.

I am going to start off by saying please don't let the reviews worry you like they did me, there was 8 of us all together, Mum, Dad, Nan, Grandad and 4 kids 14, 8, 7 and 3. We had a fabulous holiday and will be back. Rooms - we had 2 rooms and in-laws had a room. Our 2 rooms were interconnected so it turned into one massive room which was amazing fo us so we could all be together. The rooms are very spacious and the views were unbelievable. The rooms are outdated but you're only in there to sleep and get ready so didn't bother us. The floor can become very slippy if gets wet after shower/bath so please be careful of that. The beds were very comfortable and we slept amazing all holiday. We were floor 8 so right at the top of the building, we used the lifts to go up but generally used stairs to get downstairs as was much easier and faster. Lifts - they are abit temperamental but there are a few so there is always one to use. Just expect a wait during busy times of eating etc. Only thing that did disappoint us was no tea facilities inside the rooms which was a disappointment. You also need to pay €3 a day for the safe which I think is abit cheeky especially as people want to keep passports/important information safe. Stuff like this is what keeps it at a 3 star for me. Food - we thought the food was amazing, always a massive choice and changed every day, they have staff coming to collect plates all the time which was nice to see. My in-laws have been on multiple cruises and said the food was on par with them, we had salads and everything, daughter loved the burgers and hotdogs served at snack by the pool bar, none of us were ill which was very unusual as one of us usually gets a bad belly. Hotel - Hotel itself was clean and tidy, Sunday they don't have cleaners so saw a bit of rubbish then but that is down to us tourists not putting that in the bins. Staff in the food hall were amazing, always interacting with the kids and giving high fives etc, reception staff were good when asking for bus times gave us a sheet with times but was very confusing so I just used ChatGPT. Pool - the pool is overly small and had to be shut a few times due to people pooing and being sick in it, I personally thought it was too small for the people in it. The floor is also very slippy when wet so wear some crocs or beach shoes, we did see a few people slip. We only used it 2x the rest of the holiday we went to the waterpark which our kids loved, there is no rush for the beds and plenty of beds available, we would leave our stuff and then go back up to hotel for food, we would buy a pack of 6 Tropical beer for €4 and take them in. Definitely recommend the waterpark, the water is salty though but that didnt bother us kids just wore goggles but it does make you burn faster. Entertainment- I think the entertainment was ok for a 3 star, the Lion King, Greatest Showman and Michael Jackson tribute stuff was amazing, the girls dancing were samey though and got abit boring but there is plenty to do around there with the arcades, mini golf etc. Kids enjoyed themselves and that is all that matters. Beach - the beach is nice but the sea is very rough so please watch your kids when they are in there as it can drag a full adult out. Some lovely restaurants and a sports bar on the beach you can use if get bored of the all inclusive food and for a change of scenery. Shops & Amenities - there is a brilliant supermarket underneath the hotel on main path along to the beach which we loved, it had everything in and wasn't overly expensive, if that was in Britain with the hotel being so secluded they'd wack the prices up but the prices were generally good, big bottle of water €1. There is a place where you can get hair braids seemed to be a popular thing for the girls, a full head along top with pink hair added was €45, they also have a lady doing it at the pool during the mornings. DO NOT use the pharmacy underneath the hotel, they aren't proper pharmacies more like a Holland and Barrett and we only learnt this after spending €100 on food supplements that they sold as 'pain relief' and having to see the doctor who is under the Princess Hotel. The Doctors under the Princess Hotel were amazing when our daughter got swelling on her head from the heat, you have to pay €95 to see the doctor and then get your prescription from Peurto Rico which was €16 there and back (think taxi driver felt sorry for us as should have been double), can also get bus 9 for a few €s but we didn't have the time to wait. We claimed the taxi expense, medication and doctor on our travel insurance and got it all back, that was Post Office, they were amazing 48 hours after claim put money in my bank. Just keep all receipts and documents. SO PLEASE UNLESS WANT TO GET SCAMMED DON'T GO TO THE PHARMACY, THE PROPER PHARMACIES HAVE GREEN FLASHING LIGHTS AND CLOSEST IS IN PEURTO RICO. Excursions - we booked our excursions through get guide and did the dolphin and whale cruise with Bluebird I think they were called and they were amazing, picked us up from opposite the hotel at Spa Krabi and took us back at the end. We saw loads of Dolphins and also flying fish, the kids also got to jump in a calm part of the sea and snorkel for 8 of us cost us £195 we were gone for about 4 hours all together. Puerto de Mogán- is beautiful, we got a bus but the bus times are very confusing so we got translate on phone and asked the bus drivers and they told us which buses to get etc they were amazing!! Whatever you do, go to Puerto de Mogán (Little Venice) it is honestly beautiful there, bars along the harbour and could see so many beautiful fish. We also ate at Mr.India and OMG we are big Indian eaters and it is the best Indian we have EVER had, the staff were incredible too!! You need to go there, you wont regret it. Family of 8, 3 kids meals (brilliant size curries), 3 adult curries, chips, 2 rice and 2 naans, 3 Cobra bottles, 2 coke bottlles & 3 bottle water, €10 tip was €140. You have to go!! We have been dreaming about it since weve left and would go back just for an Indian 🤣. Temperature - we were worrying as was only saying 28 and with the recent hot weather in Britain thought we were going to be cold, how wrong were we, it was bloody boiling felt more like mid 30s and no cloud in the sky.

Holidayed this August with family, very average hotel, 2 stars max, one outdoor swimming pool that clearly not big enough to accommodate all the guests, it is packed from morning till evening you can only stand in it forget swimming freely. Breakfast, lunch and dinner very dull, staff members couldn’t care less, especially the breakfast grumpy omelette guy who was absolutely shocking, brought this up with restaurant manager no results next morning this “happy“ individual was there serving (no hi, no acknowledgment, facial expression is almost he hates everything and everyone). Positives- sun, beach outdoor dining, basically anything outside hotel was grate. Hotel LIVVO Lago Taurito very poor.

I've got to say I panicked reading some of the reviews that appeared after we booked it, but we needn't have at all! Lovely stay! It's a 3 star hotel so if your expecting the Ritz don't bother! Check in was fast and efficient and we were in our room within 10 mins of arriving with a little pack up and water to see us through the night. The rooms had everything we needed as a family of 5, 2 adults 3 children. All the beds were comfy, they were cleaned regularly (this is asked as a preference on check in) bathroom was a little run down but to use the toilet, shower and clean your teeth what more do you need? The food was great, all sittings had good choices and something for everyone. Drinks were a bit syrupy but they did the job for keeping everyone hydrated. Food was replenished often, and if you needed anything all you needed to do was ask! Swimming pool was a little small and did feel crowded at times but it didn't stop us having fun. Some of the drainage round the side was quite dangerous in places and could do with repairing but again you don't have to step on it. Unfortunately a guest decided they would poop in the pool resulting in it having to close for the day. The reps were amazing and we were able to visit the neighboring hotels to use their pools. Drinks again very syrupy and lots of wastage with the cups, bring your own is my advice. Pool shoes are a must as the floor from the beds to the pool do get very hot. Silly people do reserve beds from some ungodly hour but there are plenty nearby all with brollys. Water park is salt water so bring goggles, again floor gets hot so shoes are needed. Floaties can be used here and the kids loved playing on them. Slides all good lots of fun had by everyone. No all inclusive in here but can leave to go back and get dinner and come back in and it's literally a 3 minute walk from the entrance if that. Beach was fab very hot so again shoes needed. Sand is black though so to be expected. Quite rough at times. Entertainment was good from what we saw, they have lots of the kids to do but all this does cost extra. Bowling, crazy golf, trampolines, arcades, soft play. Seats in the entertainment area fill up very quickly which is why we didn't watch. We took cards and played family games which was a lovely change to TVs at home. We used elaine to book the super cat. If you are going to do it do the 4 hour it turned out to be a full day which was def lots of fun although very expensive if you do lots of activities. Bus stop at the top of the hill 7 stops (€7 for 5) Amadore beach is just beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink, sunbeds for €5 each well worth it and the sea is beautiful and bright blue. Busy but you don't feel like it is as it's big. Kids loved the pedalos with slides and for €15 for the hour it kept them well entertained. Pints in cold glasses felt like a proper holiday pint!! Any problems we had, the air conditioning didn't work the first night and then leaked quite significantly another night were fixed within the hour so again no complaints, things break! Could do with another few showers for guests who are checking out. Make sure you book the shower on the morning of check out if not you won't get it. It could also do with cleaning as the women's shower was full of empty bottles, towels and hair. It was noisy at times especially in a morning whilst people dragged furniture across the balconies but again it didn't spoil anything. Nighttimes were not an issue. Some guests are questionable and alcohol definitely lowers the inhibitions of a few but that could happen anywhere so it didn't spoil a thing! Would we visit again most definitely we had a lovely time.

This is a long one This is by far the best holiday I've ever been on. I usually go abroad at least twice a year and I was honestly surprised. Before going I was panicking because of the reviews I had read but I can truthfully say I never found any such issues. When we arrived it was was late and dark so couldn't see anything and it was quiet outside. When we got to reception a lovely man called Jaafer checked us in. He was very polite hand cheerful for being so late and welcomed us with a beautiful smile and packed lunch with water. Also you can choose which days you would like your room cleaned upon arrival. We were checked in within ins and at our room. The room was clean and well presented, whilst some may not think the rooms are aesthetically pleasing, I had no problem with it. It was very spacious, clean and plenty of storage. The bed was fairly comfortable although I like a harder mattress. When I woke up and went out on the balcony in the morning for the sunrise I couldn't believe the view of the mountains. It was stunning I have never been to such a place. We spent the first day finding our way about which is very simple because everything is within the area. We had breakfast which had a great variety of things with all different types of breakfast goodies. Then we took a walk down to the beach. Now, this is what I was most intrigued about with it being the dark sand. The beach is small but was never over crowded and there are a lot of shops along the front for all types of stuff. Food, drinks, souvenirs etc. the view of the cliffs is beautiful especially at sunset. If you walk to the other side there will s a hotel called princess Taurito and you can go to the cliffs that side too. Make sure to wear some type of footwear because the sand is very hot if you're not used to it. At the hotel there is one pool which at times did get very crowded and seats were sometimes hard to get as people are out at silly o'clock putting towels on them. The pool itself though was warm and we had great times playing there. Unfortunately there were a couple of days in the afternoons it had to be closed because people clearly don't know how to use the toilets that are right next to it. Word of warning, if you are in a public pool and think it's a fart just go to the toilet and don't spoil it for the hundreds of other people that have paid to be there. Also the staff shouldn't have to be dealing with that until all hours. The hotel could really benefit from another pool up on the area where there are only loungers. I'd go as far to say adults only would be great. Lunch was your typical buffet all inclusive which suited us fine as we always found something lovely to eat. Dinner was also very nice with lots of variety especially if you are a person that eats anything you will enjoy it very much. Drinks unfortunately are not great in the all inclusive but are self serve so that was good. Take your own cups or bottles to fill up or it's paper cups which is a bit of a waste as you can only use them a couple times before they get soggy. The water Park is great and so much to do for any age. Yes, it is salt water so be prepared, take goggles if you need them. Also as the water Park is separate from the hotel the all inclusive is not part of it and you need to pay for drinks and anything else. The prices are not too bad but it clearly states this when booking. Also, I would highly recommend taking good shampoo and conditioner and hair oil especially if you already have damaged hair. There are shower facilities in the park you should rinse as soon as you are done in the water. Entertainment was a bit hit and miss but the seemed to have a great time and a few shows I did see were really good. There is an arcade and soft play also near to the entertainment arena where the seating is. You have to get there fairly early though as it gets busy quick and this is shared with the other 2 hotels.There are some good eat shops along the bottom of the hotel and a supermarket that sells anything you may need. Overall It was excellent and I would definitely return. The people were so friendly and helpful, especially Constantine at breakfast and Jaafer on reception. Additionally to that though everyone was always working so hard and it really was an excellent experience. Also while I was outside I met Elaine who works at the excursions and she knows everything so go give her shout if you need anything. Also at the shop at the beach was Jaimika, she was so lovely and I would stop and have a chat with her and even met her lovely daughter. Then at the jewellery shop is Yoti and Raj, they are such wonderful people and I loved speaking to them. Everything was just perfect and I hope to return next year or sooner if I can. The only thing that let it down was some of the other guests behavior and lack of parenting. Also other reviews made mention of drug dealers hanging around outside. Yes this is true unfortunately but they only approach certain people so just stay clear and they shouldn't bother you. They hang around on the paved entrance near the underground carpark. I did see a few cockroaches but this is obviously to be expected, they live there and it's their environment. They were there a long time before people and hotels and I'd rather deal with that than the spiders I've been getting at home in the UK. I already miss this place and really hope to get back there. You have to take a trip to Puerto Rico and Mogan, wowww truly stunning. Words or pictures can't describe the beauty. It's something you have to see. Whilst in Puerto Rico walk across into Playa de Amadores, stunning. Definitely visit Murphy's Bar in Puerto Rico for a cheap drink and great atmosphere. Take plenty of sunscreen it's very expensive if you run out of forget it. Most of all, enjoy as much as we did and make as many memories as you can!
