Riu Vistamar

4th time at this hotel and second one in a suite, from start to finish we had a lovely time, reception are great, I'd requested the same room as we had on our previous visit and this was what we got, they also helped with ordering taxi's, and keeping the room on on day of departure. Staff throughout the hotel are pleasant and friendly, room kept immaculate and bar staff remember your drinks order. The bus service during the day to the beach is great and it's walkable to the Europa centre for restaurants, bars and entertainment. We didnt see much of the entertainment in the hotel but what we did see was good. On either side of the hotel views are amazing you can watch the boats go past and listen to the sea on one side and on the other people watch on the beach. The only thing I would add would be to have loungers on the balcony.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. We arrived around 1pm and were shown to the courtesy rooms to freshen up for lunch. We were then given a room which faced the beach as requested prior to arrival. The room itself was absolutely spotless and could not be faulted. The view was spectacular. The food and drink at the hotel was amazing. The cocktails by the pool were served in nice glasses and it never took you long to get served. There was always plenty of choice at meal times and the food was always of excellent standard. The staff in the restaurant and terrace were very friendly and memorised your drink order. The a la carte restaurants were fantastic, particularly the Asian restaurant. The three pools were kept to a very high standard of cleanliness and there were always plenty of sun loungers to go around. We did feel that the pools were quite small and activities could take up quite a lot of space We visited quite a lot of the entertainment shows, and although these were standard for an all inclusive holiday, they were still quite enjoyable, however it did mean you had to be there early for a seat as the indoor area where entertainment is isn’t the biggest. The surrounding areas are quite nice; we visited mini golf and enjoyed looking round the shops.

We stayed here in July and couldn't fault it from start to finish, the reception and bar staff was the most friendliest we've seen at hotels, we had been to this hotel a few years back and thought it was good then but it's completely different for the better, the food is good with a lot of choice we had a room overlooking Amaderos beach, but think every room has a brilliant view no matter where you are, we will definitely return again

The hotel its self is in a good location and has stunning views. The room was clean and tidy but definitely had a musty smell I’d say it’s not worth the money they charge to stay here the food is nice but repetitive and sickness is rife within the hotel my partner suffered for 3 days of a 7 day stay and we had heard of others getting very sick while staying at the hotel The pool areas are clean and tidy and we never struggled for a bed There are positives with this hotel for sure but for me the negatives outweigh them

Ok so we’ve just returned after a week here, and I’ll be honest it’s up and down. The staff, the hotel the facilities and rooms was amazing, the views was stunning, but the food despite plenty of choices wasn’t great, tasted the same, very greasy and some things was appalling. Myself and my son got food poisoning ruining my last 2 days and my sons last day, constant throwing up, and even on the plane plus the other end was very active during the last 2 days, I didn’t eat was just drinking. That was the low and I’m sorry to say I wasn’t the only one as we heard numerous people also being sick, back to the final positive the entertainment team are great all day plenty to do and apart from the food it was a enjoyable stay and holiday.
