Riu Vistamar

Excellent hotel! We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the bar staff and waiters to the reception staff. Lovely food and eating area. Our room had everything we needed and obviously the view was amazing! We didn’t stay for the entertainment much but there was a great atmosphere whenthe football was on, with ample seating. We found a good, quiet spot at the pool area. This helped us as it became fairly noisy as our stay went on with more families arriving! This wasn’t really a problem as we knew it wasn’t adult only but were led to believe at least one of the pools would be adult only! We did feel the steps leading to each pool were a bit tiring, not a problem if you’re a youngster! Loved having the 24hr sports bar available for a late drink and cheeky burger! Getting a taxi and booking excursions was simple and effortless, the reception staff got everything sorted quickly. The RIU party night was a nice touch too, something a bit different and free!! A perfect holiday in a lovely hotel.

Had a great time here with our family, food very good with plenty of choices for us all. Very clean throughout and our room was cleaned nice and early. All staff were friendly and courteous and seemed very happy. The curtesy bus to amadores beach is a bonus as it would have been a hard walk.

Last day at this lovely hotel and had the most amazing experience. Positives, hotel is spotless, food is varied and of a good quality, staff are friendly and very welcoming, views are amazing and courtesy bus to beach ia a bonus. Negatives, not many but what hotel does not have them!. Mini bar in room only has water which you have to replenish yourself from the sports bar. Would be better if stocked with a few soft drinks, beer and wine which would get replenished daily. This would allow you to relax on the balcony having a drink if you did not want to partake in the entertainment of an evening. Lifts are a bit of an issue, however would be fine if they were all in working order, which was not the case during our stay. Would highly recommend this hotel if looking for a relaxing week away. Puerto Rico within easy reach by taxi at 7/8€ for a one way journey. Would definitely come back.

hotel fine ,food good, great selection ,all inclusive only. hotel staff all great, entertainment for kids ,pools at top of hotel roof bit of a problem for those of us with walking difficulties ,lots of steps to pools and kids pool up more steps ,but due to position of hotel on cliff this cant be helped overall good hotel,staff excellent, 2nd time there but as we get older steps are a problem, also get early to pools as they are busy and towels down on sunbeds v early . bus to amadores beach and beach free and regular.

We returned to this hotel 3 times. Every experience was great. Stuff are brilliant, polite, happy, helpful in anyway they can be. Compliments to Evelio who's handled the situation very well and made us feel better after a traumatic missing flight experience. They run a kids club where my daughter was very keen to participate allowing them to express their creativity. Everyone makes you feel like home to home. We miss everyone!!! Signed :K.
