Be Live Adults Only Tenerife

We stayed here for a week on an all-inclusive basis and overall had a really nice holiday. I think the hotel is best described as a good, reasonably priced base for exploring Tenerife rather than somewhere I’d choose if I wanted to spend my entire holiday at the resort. Our room was clean and perfectly functional, although quite basic and definitely ready for an upgrade. The bathroom was nice and everything worked well. My biggest issue was the bed, which I found really uncomfortable. However, our friend was staying just a couple of rooms away and had a much more comfortable bed, so this may vary between rooms. The hotel itself could generally do with some updating and maintenance in places, but this didn’t stop us enjoying our stay. The pool area is lovely, clean and well maintained, and was probably one of the nicest parts of the hotel. Food is fairly standard all-inclusive buffet food. It wasn’t the best buffet I’ve ever had, but certainly wasn’t the worst either. There was always something we could eat and overall it was absolutely fine for the price we paid. The same goes for the all-inclusive drinks. There was a decent selection and we were happy with what was available. The staff were consistently friendly, pleasant and helpful throughout our stay, which makes a big difference. Entertainment was okay. Despite being an adults-only hotel, don’t necessarily expect complete peace and sophistication. Some of the adults are perfectly capable of providing the behaviour you’d normally expect from the children you’re avoiding! But people are on holiday to enjoy themselves, and overall the atmosphere was good. We used the hotel primarily as a base and went out exploring, including trips to Loro Parque and Siam Park, and it worked really well for us in that respect. Overall, I think the price we paid was fair for a budget all-inclusive. There are definitely areas that need investment and updating, and I would really like to see the beds improved, but we still came away having had a genuinely nice holiday. I wouldn’t describe it as luxurious, but if you’re looking for an affordable adults-only all-inclusive and a good base for seeing Tenerife, it’s perfectly decent and I’d say 3/5 is a fair rating.

It was my first solo holiday and first time going north, I absolutely LOVED it, i was abit wary of the food after reading mixed reviews but needn't of worried there was plenty of choice and all lovely, staff were friendly and approachable, lovely Jewelery counter in reception so even got some christmas presents in, the only down side that may put me off going again was the lifts were barely working and there was so many stairs, if the lifts were working it would of been 100%from me! Im still debating a return visit as only stayed 5nights so I didnt get to do excursions I wanted to do, if you struggle with mobility it isnt the hotel for you due to how many stairs there are and I was only on floor 2! A few sunbeds were broken but all in all i didnt really have a issue getting one, the bar shut at around 11pm and there didnt appear to be much going on entertainment wise but that wasn't a issue as I was more than happy with a relaxed holiday. I stayed here as a solo female traveler looking for an affordable, hassle-free all-inclusive option, as solo room surcharges can often be ridiculous. Be Live Adults Only Tenerife delivered fantastic value for money, though there is one major caveat potential guests should know about. The Pros: Location (5/5): The absolute highlight of this hotel. It’s in a perfect spot! When you step outside, you have views of Mount Teide in the background. It’s right near the beach, an outdoor swimming lane area, and Loro Parque zoo. It’s also just a short walk along the coast to the historic old town, the fishing port, tapas bars, and beautiful shopping streets full of character. Staff & Service (5/5): The staff are incredibly warm, helpful, and friendly. I checked in late around 9 PM and they immediately reminded me I had 45 minutes to grab dinner before the restaurant closed. Massage: I booked a 50-minute full body massage at the hotel for just €55, which was amazingly cheap for hotel rates. The masseuse was incredible and managed to release all the tension and knots in my back and shoulders. Cleanliness (5/5): The hotel is kept very clean throughout. Food & Entertainment (3.5) Solid for a budget all-inclusive. The buffet had plenty of options with tasty, fresh salads, fish, chicken, rice dishes, soup, and paella. The evening entertainment was very nostalgic—a fun 80s/90s vibe with karaoke and tribute acts like Michael Jackson and George Michael. The Cons: Heavy Smoking Environment: This was the biggest downside for me. My room smelled like cigarette smoke upon arrival, and opening the balcony door only brought in a rush of cigarette, cigar, and weed smoke from outside. There doesn't seem to be a designated smoking area, so smokers light up everywhere around the pool and outdoor grounds. It felt impossible to escape the smell, which led me to spend most of my days exploring the town and beach instead of lounging by the pool. Dated Rooms: The bedrooms are quite dated (a bit of an 80s feel), but despite the cigarette smell, the bed was comfortable. Overall Verdict: Because of the low price point, the hotel naturally attracts a certain low-budget demographic—expect a heavy-drinking, heavy-smoking crowd. However, everyone was friendly, the staff were lovely, and the experience was solid overall. If you are a nonsmoker or sensitive to smoke, you might struggle with the pool area, but if you want an unbeatable, low-cost base to explore Puerto de la Cruz, it’s worth it.

Be warned. Whilst the hotel is good (not more the 3*) and there is plenty of choice of food, out of 6 lifts to serve 12 floors this lunchtime only 1 was working. At most there are only 3 working at any one time. Either you have a long wait or you walk up and down. This is not a new situation! We were here the same time last year and then only 4 lifts were ever working and then not all the time. We were here in 2019 and only the 3 lifts on reception were open and usually only 2 working. Management do nothing about it

Please don’t bother wasting your money! The hotel is so dated and run down,the food was terrible! The afternoon bar food was just cold in self service trays no kitchen to prepare food,The beds are like sleeping on a weetabix,pillow so flat! The pool is tiny I didn’t even want to get in it,too ontop of each other,we went to a swimming pool park in the town that was lovely and the restaurants in the town were great! I wouldn’t bother with the all inclusive! So annoyed with the hotel as the one in Morocco Be live was beautiful! Tenerife though is lovely and clean!
