GF Gran Costa Adeje

Immaculate hotel in an excellent location. Attentive staff, very clean and well styled. It is a very large hotel, so the dinning room is very busy but there is an abundance of food that changes each day. Breakfast choice and quality was excellent.

Disappointing stay – definitely not 5-star Unfortunately, our experience was nowhere near what we would expect from a 5-star hotel. Check-in was rushed, with very little information provided. We were left feeling that the welcome and service were lacking from the moment we arrived. The food was terrible, which was particularly disappointing given the standard we expected. The location was excellent, and the grounds were aesthetically pleasing, but unfortunately, these were the only real positives. The staff were generally unwelcoming and unhelpful. When we needed assistance, the response was often slow, and there seemed to be little sense of urgency or willingness to help. We were only booked on a bed and breakfast basis, so we cannot comment on the all-inclusive or other dining arrangements. However, the breakfast and overall food experience were very disappointing. For a hotel claiming to offer a 5-star experience, the service, hospitality and food simply did not meet expectations.

The location is excellent and the hotel is very clean. Unfortunately the staff are all completely miserable, they all make you feel completely unwelcome. The food is very disappointing and nothing about this hotel is 5 star! We all would definitely not stay here again!

Gran Costa Adeje Tenerife – The price does not reflect the quality! Dirty bedsheets, mould stains on the pillowcase, and yellow stains on the blanket. This was our first experience at a five-star hotel. Another major issue is the shortage of sun loungers. The hotel has internal rules allowing staff to remove guests’ towels and personal belongings if they are not physically present on the sun loungers. I find it completely unacceptable for staff to handle my personal belongings and then be unable to explain what happened to them. After the staff removed our belongings, my book went missing, and I still have not received it back. Despite raising the issue with management, the problem was never actually resolved. To this day, there is no book, no apology, and no compensation. The Wi-Fi does not work in the pool area, forcing us to rely on our own mobile data. Five stars on paper, but no accountability or professionalism in practice. If you expect cleanliness, quality service, reliable Wi-Fi, and respect for your money, think carefully before choosing this hotel. The price certainly does not reflect the quality or the way guests are treated.

This was our third holiday at GF Gran Costa, Adeje and another great holiday. We travelled with our family and 18 month old grandson this time, so it was a really special holiday for us. The facilities for our grandson were great, he loved the mini disco and soft play area. The small pool was perfect for safe play with his toys and inflatables. They loved the new Jungle Bar cocktails, we will definitely try it when we return in February. There was plenty of choice for all our different tastes at breakfast even when near the end of service. All the staff are so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help when we needed medical assistance, helping with phone calls, transport and translations, then checking on us the following day in case we needed any further help.
