If I could give 3.5 stars, that’s what I’d give! Honest review - don’t think this is a 4 star hotel but it’s a decent 3 star. Great location - 10 min walk to Fanabe beach and all the great bars and restaurants, 15 min walk to El Duque beach and the upmarket shops and more seafront restaurants. Loved the layout of the place which is set out like a Canarian village with lovely cobbled streets - it’s got charm by the bucket loads! The bungalow we had, whilst dated, was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a great shower. It was sadly let down by the poor attempt at air conditioning which wasn’t too bad in the living room but virtually nonexistent in the bedroom which made sleep very difficult. We asked reception for a fan which they kindly provided immediately but it didn’t make up for the lack of decent air conditioning. Pool area was beautiful and well maintained with probably the most comfortable sun loungers I’ve ever come across. Not sure why it was chained off until 10am each day - lots of people like to lie in the sun early whilst it’s a bit cooler. That said, there was no bun fight for loungers as I’ve read in previous reviews - plenty for everyone each day. We were on a bed and breakfast basis and I’d say the food was average - no freshly made to order omelettes as most 4 star hotels offer. Ok selection of cereals, a good variety of continental and cooked breakfast items, fruit, pastries, yoghurts etc. - it did the job but nothing more. Staff were all very pleasant and friendly, check in quick. Courtesy facilities to grab a shower before leaving were great! Would I return? Not paying 4 star prices but if we got a bargain like we did this time and we were guaranteed a room with effective air conditioning, then probably yes!

Lovely hotel, decent location, more like a village, nice gesture free safe, breakfast- plenty of choice, spent most of our time by the quiet pool as main pool rowdy. Had room 105 , couple 🪳 in room but they came and sprayed, keep your coke covered they are partial 😉 Lovely big rooms & balconies, would return!

Generally a good hotel . We stayed in a bungalow which was decent plenty room compared to being a hotel room. All though we did have to share with some cockroaches. Pool area was good with plenty sun beds and no problems getting a bed. Bar was nice could do with more staff to guests ration and this was all over the site lack of staff. Food was awful lack of choice lack of imagination lack of change day to day over our 10 nights stay.

A very charming hotel that is made up of a hotel building and a large number of bungalows, reminiscent of a Canarian village with its alleys and small squares. It is not luxurious, but it is very warm and pleasant to stay. The staff is extremely friendly and helpfull. The bungalows are spacious, have a separate bedroom and a small kitchen equipped with everything you need. The hotel is specially adapted for families with children... I have never seen so many children in any hotel, which is commendable. The food is varied with lots of vegetables and fruits, cheeses, meat and fish, as well as a variety of cakes, cookies, ice cream... Everyone can find what suits them. The hotel is clean and well maintained, both the accommodation facilities and the entire hotel complex. The location is excellent...literally everything you need is within a few minutes' walk. We had a great vacation and we are really delighted. Thank you for everything, we will definitely choose this hotel again for a holiday. All sincere recommendations.

Great week at the GF Isabel. We were all inclusive for the week. The hotel itself was lovely, nice for it to look like a little village, with bungalows, villas and apartments too instead of just one large hotel. Pool was great, there are 3 in total, one just for kids but both main pools had a bar available too. Snacks at lunch were also great, burgers, hot dogs, chips, salad, fruit etc. The pool entertainment was good to, music played all day. All staff were friendly and helpful, cleaner came in each day and refresh towels etc. The place itself was very clean too. Food in the evening was okay, we did eat out 3 nights as it did become quite repetitive what was available, however it was nice. Evening entertainment was hit and miss, with some night finishing at 10pm, the all inclusive bar was bizzare, it was all table service, Which was nice but on occasions they were very busy we had to wait ages to get a drink. In the end we did go to the bar and order directly with them. Room itself was nice, clean, large wardrobe and balcony. Air con in lounge area and bedroom was good, black out blinds were amazing! The only downside for the rooms, was not enough sockets near the mirrors to do hair etc, however we did take a extension lead which proved most helpful, Overall the holiday was great, food was good, weather was fantastic and staff fantastic. I would return to this hotel again, great holiday .
