GF Isabel

Another amazing stay. We went as a couple in 2022 and this time we went as a family (my wife, our son and daughter in law and grandson and me). The rooms were clean and comfortable and the air con worked! The food was nice enough and there was always something we could all eat. I would have preferred a quiet bar area as the mini disco and entertainment can get a bit annoying after a few days (why not open the pool bar at night?). My wife and I were also devastated to hear about Rafael who looked after us in 2022. Thanks again to all the staff . See you again soon.

GF Isabel is a great hotel. It has 3 swimming pools , one just for young children . The whole hotel is very clean. We had a bungalow and it was very spacious. Breakfast was amazing there was everything you could want and more . The staff are great and nothing was a problem. The evening entertainment was superb and we loved ABBA International. My husband and I will definitely come here again.

Second visit this year, visited in April/May last time 10 nights…this time for 14 nights. Not a lot has changed since last visit we were in the same apartment block 200’s…first room 217 had air con issues (not working) so went to see Isobel on reception to look for a solution which was sorted by a move to room 210 air con working OK 👍🏼. A couple of things to mention the hotel is having a good level of refurbishment ongoing which brings lots of noise during the daytime, so if an afternoon nap is planned you would struggle to sleep especially in the block our apartment was located, did mention this and advised some communication would have been grateful. Facilities OK, same issue with the treadmills in the gym area need servicing or updating one trips out whilst in use so please be careful, breakfast is OK could add a freshly cooked omelette station , we only stayed B&B so can’t comment on other meal times, courtesy room available if leaving late as keeping your room on after normal checkout time (1200) is very difficult as hotel always seems busy. Will come back hopefully to one of the newly renovated rooms for next year, please review some of the minor issues mentioned as these may potentially improve future stays for your guests. Again, enjoyed our stay and will look to stay again if everything lines up with us 👍🏼

Our 3rd visit to this hotel and we can not fault it. It is set out like a village with apartments and bungalows, it is a large complex, very tidy and clean. We had a bungalow which was very clean with so much space. The pools are great, clean with comfortable sunbeds. The pool does not open till 10am when the life guard starts so no ridiculous queues and fighting for sunbeds. Always plenty beds no matter what time you go which is what we love. We were bed and breakfast and found the food to be really nice. So much choice for everyone. I am coeliac and need gluten free and they were really good with me. Everything is labelled and the servers brought me gluten free toast. Great location for bars, restaurants and the beach. We love this hotel so much we have booked to come back in November. Had a 2 week stay at this hotel overall it is an amazing hotel. The size of it can be quite daunting, and to fair we did not find out everything until a week into our stay. The food is pretty good. They have themed nights- Mexican, Indian, Asian etc. It can get a bit repetitive but its hard when you are catering for so many people with different tastes. The waiting / bar staff are really great. They work so hard to make sure everything is clean and presentable at all times. There is 3 pool areas. Depending on where you are on the complex depends probably which your nearest pool is. We visited 2/3 pools. Both really nice. Sunbeds comfy. Pools nice. You can take a towel to use down at the pool. I think the idea is you don't keep it more than 1 day but to be fair if its not that bad then we chose you keep it. Seems a shame to put a towel out to wash when you may have only used it for a few hours and it will be fine for another day. The hotel states it is a sustainable hotel and asks that if you use your room towels and hang them up you are happy to use them again, but even when we hung our towels they took them everyday and changed them. There is a laundry on site only 2 dryers/ 2 washers. 1 washer take money €6 and the other washer / dryers take tokens which can be obtained from reception (6€) This is not clear so it took us a while to work this out! We were in an apartment on the 2nd floor. There is a lovely adults only sunbathing area which is very quiet. Bar areas really nice. There is a balcony bar area but this gets very busy and results in long queues for drinks during the entertainment. Dowstairs there is waiter service but can take a while to get served. Could maybe do with a 1 waiter upstairs to deal with upstairs bar to assist with queues. Also there is no smoking / vaping in the whole of the dowstairs area. Entertainment was ok. Magic shows, acrobat, circus etc.. We visited with with my elderley mother. The hotel allows parking / charging for a scooter as long as you hold a blue badge. Acceptability round the complex is good. There are lots of ramps etc to enable u to get to most areas you need. We would definantly come again. The area is great. Close to shops, bars restaurants.
