Hotel Europe Villa Cortes

Sublime. Always a delight to spend some time at the wonderful Hotel Villa Cortes. The attention to detail is exceptional without appearing too fancy. The hotel is spotless. Congratulations to the garden team, housekeeping team and all those who clearly work hard "behind the scenes". Without their input it would be noticeable. Eric and Manon on reception (and the whole team) are engaging and professional. Nina, Club House organised 2 wonderful personal tours for us. A delight. Team OA and Tiziano, are super. Andy, Eva, Miguel (we very much missed Anibal) and the rest of the team provide faultless service. It is clear we love HVC (15 time visitors). It is genuinely a home from home, not in terms of decor but that wonderful immediate welcome when you step into the glorious reception after a long day travelling. Finally, thank you Aki. You always take time out to say hello and look after us royally. The whole team effort, subtlety done, makes for a truly wonderful wind down stay. Bravo. Kevin and Tracie.

Location great, staff lovely, food great, building stunning etc etc. We stayed in P106 low level pool facing room. 1st thing we noticed was how fab the room was however it smelt really MUSTY/DAMP this was not the real problem. From night one we began to get bitten by mosquitos , we thought maybe whilst out on a night . After night two I was covered in bites/sores & partner had 4 or 5. Came in night 3 and realised the room had at least a dozen mosquitos on the ceiling/walls spent till the early hours trying to kill them . The outside plants: water are a breeding ground and enter the room when the patio doors are open . The management moved us to a top floor with no problems. I Have been back home 5 days & still these bites flare up. My concern is this if this had been children or babies it would be much worse . Front of desk said ,we will get stuff from chemist, No it needs fumigating around pools/water . If you have a lower room BEWARE because these bites have lasted almost 2 weeks and itch like hell. I have added 2 photos but could have added 25.

I have always wanted to stay at this hotel and decided I would treat myself in August last year. We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed the pool area and sun loungers were the nicest I've had! The breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed sitting in the court yard to eat. I will definitely return and recommend this hotel

We have reached the end of our week long stay as a family of 3 at this wonderful hotel and just had to leave a review. The hotel itself is as beautiful as all the other reviews say. The decor is unique but tasteful and makes a welcome and interesting change from other hotels we have stayed in before. From the grounds, to the restaurants everywhere is wonderfully clean and well kept. Our bedroom was made beautifully every day and we always had everything topped up that we needed. The rooms themselves are very spacious as are the bathrooms. The pool is wonderfully relaxing, a perfect temperature and very quiet so much so, I was a little bit worried about our son disturbing the Oasis of calm at times! He was allowed to take his floatie in toy he pool which was fantastic to keep him entertained. The staff here have been exceptionally polite, warm and welcoming and helpful, especially those at the front desk. The service has been faultless and nothing has been too much trouble. The hotel itself is really well located, right on the seafront and we were able to wonder down and try a variety of restaurants in the area each evening. We have never struggled to find some sunbeds whenever we have wandered down to the pool. Breakfast is as good as the hype, everything you can think of is available, fresh, good quality and very tasty we looked forward to it each day. Work your way through the entire menu of eggs and make sure you get a custard croissant. Our only feedback would be some additional space to dry towels and swimwear on the terrace would be great. The rooms will feel a little darker than what you're used to but it's in keeping with the style of the hotel and didn't bother us at all. An excellent stay, an exceptionally well run hotel and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Just returned after a three week stay at this fabulous hotel for the fourth year in a row and already booked another two weeks for June 2027. Rooms are immaculate and every member of staff we came across were so nice and professional especially Ion on reception who is a credit to the hotel. We would like to thank Katty and Angie two of the fantastic hard working breakfast waitresses and Manon for his help and professionalism. Find it so hard when naming members of staff when everyone is excellent. Not once in the past visits have we needed to complain or have been disappointed ,can’t wait till next year so relaxing and definitely 5 stars Kind regards Billy and Paula Anderson
