HOVIMA La Pinta Beachfront Family

I really enjoyed my stay at la pinta with my family for 10 days, we all had an incredible time. There was a great atmosphere and lots to do with my younger brother and sister. All of the staff were so friendly and approachable especially David who made sure to chat to us whenever we saw him and he made our experience more enjoyable at the hotel. I'd recommend this hotel for families with kids of any age and I know we will return again

Second holiday at La Pinta and another positive experience with kids due to the servi es provided. Rooms are clean, cover the bases (though no bath - just a shower and baby bath can be provided at request) and with kitchen facilities - other positives include ability to create room for kids to sleep and room for adults to sleep - which is helpful to creating a quiet space once they have went down to sleep at night or when getting up in the morning . Swimming Pool is good too - with warm enough kids pool (though adult pool is a bit cooler) and plenty of space for them to have fun and try the slides, etc surrounding it. There is a Kids Club and Baby Club (Kids Club - inc soft play - is for 4 years and older - no exceptions...Baby Club is for those 3 years old and younger) where you can stay with your child or 'sign them in' for staff to supervise. Nuria created a safe and fun environment in the Baby Club during our time there - where the kids were keen to get down there each day and didn't want to leave at the end. This was a real positive for us as it was ideal to have for somewhere for them to play in a structured or unstructured way. Meal times (half board) were again fine with it never being too busy while we were there and no queuing, etc. The food at breakfast and evening meal were fine with a good range of options to cater for most requirements / preferences. Drinks were provided from dispensers around the edge of the dining area and worked well. Maybe worth bringing a HDMI lead to plug your mobile phone into the TV in room (or I struggled to get the phone to tether to TV anyway) just to keep the kids iccupied while getting ready, etc. Overall would recommend for a family holiday with young kids.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Travelled with 6 adults and 4 children 2-8. Every staff member was happy, high fiving the kids and always happy to make a fuss of them. The little steps upto rhe reception desk was a game changer for me so my independent little girl could ask for things herself. Such a lovely little touch. The entertainment team really made our holiday, they work long hours and deal with hundreds of guests with each one made to feel as special as the rest. Our kids loved David, who always chatted to us as he walked by. We will definitely return- especially as my daughter has not stopped chatting about Globi and the jungle! Rooms were spacious, had everything you need for snacks and light meals if required for hungry bellies. Every thing in the hotel was immaculate and my only fault would be that a child friendly hotel should not be expected to clean up after my child so I would have valued a mop or something and some plastic crockery. Food was brilliant, a very fussy husband always found something to eat and my daughter loved the range of fresh fruit. I wish there were a few more tables for the entertainment as we often struggled to get one and the same for the ques at the bar but understand its low season now. An excellent hotel, fantastic for kids David and Mike in particular were fantastic and made their holiday we were all so sad to leave. We didn’t eat at the hotel apart from the pool bar which we found to be very good. Rooms were clean with basic appliances kettle toaster microwave and hob cuttlery glasses and cups etc All the staff were friendly and helpful Location couldn’t be better beach on the doorstep with handy access from the pool side, shops, supermarkets bars and restaurants all within 2 mins Kids enjoyed the entertainment it does finish at 10pm but we found this worked well for our family and was just late enough, We will be back!

This is our 2nd visit of 2026 as a family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers. Staff throughout the hotel from the animation team to cleaning and reception have been very and helpful and friendly towards my little ones. Rooms are spacious and have everything we need for 2 young children. My little ones love the animation team and enjoy spending the morning at the baby club were they have been able to participate in a variety of activities from painting, to mini chef classes and lots of free play. Nuria and the team are always so welcoming and helpful. They also absolutely love the mini disco and seeing Globi. Location of the hotel is perfect for easy access to the beach and lots of shops/restaurants.
