Avoid *Warning Reception Staff are Theives* Just got home from here, never to return. The journey with two young energetic children was tiring with also a 2 hour delay at passport control at arrival. After arriving at the hotel, it was very busy and chaotic. Immediately upon check-in at the hotel I paid part cash, part card. I had a heavy back pack and 4 large heavy suitcases and was tired and agitated. I told the receptionist how much was cash and paid the difference on card. It’s my own fault for not fully watching him (thought it was a reputable hotel) as he split the money to count with a colleague, and he seemed to take awhile checking it, splitting it and passing it to his colleague. After a few minutes a different colleague of his who hadn’t counted or wasn’t even present during the count pops up and says I have a balance of €1000 to pay. I disagreed and said it’s all there, I have counted it multiple times before I gave it to them in the sealed envelope. It was embarrassing as she said it wasn’t and it needed to be paid (even though she hadn’t counted it). I knew exactly what I had given him, and complained. After that it was nearly 2 hours wasted of my time and holiday - ruined from just checking in. The story is so long I won’t be wasting my breath on here. The assistant manager seems very polite but she didn’t look into it hard enough, even when the staff member was sh**ing himself watching the footage back with me and the assistant manager. (The camera system is very dated and not beneficial for staff or customers, camera isn’t near enough to the front desk or even above their cash box) The assistant manager said to get the police involved, but how can I prove to them in a different country what cash I have bought with me. I would have to go to the station to give a report and statement, wasting our holiday/daughters birthday. (Oh and for the readers doubt, now I’m home I have checked what Euros I took with me and they have stole €1000 from me) Because of this we never felt safe here and it ruined our family holiday that we also tied into my daughters birthday. I have traveled to many countries and resorts/hotels and have never had or felt like this before. (Even to Cape Verde) -Swimming Pool is not heated, and it’s sun bed wars. (Not enough for the size of hotel by far) The ocean was better, even my kids told me! -The Excellence breakfast…. Some of the staff require more training, every morning something would go wrong (forgotten order, give you someone else’s food etc) That’s it, not wasting anymore time on this review. Please be careful if you choose to spend your hard earned taxed money staying here as it cost me an additional €1000

A huge thank you to Alicia in the baby club who took great care of our 20 month old. Alicia organised some fantastic activities including dressing up our little one in a chefs outfit to make Halloween cookies, painting a Halloween tshirt, making bubbles and music, doing science experiments, and so much more. The baby club was a lovely mix of activities and free play. Thank you so much Alicia; the care you gave to our baby meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday 😎 xx

David is the goat and could we do more football

Lovely week at la Pinta - great entertainment - friendly staff all round. They work so hard and really look after you! We loved David from the entertainment staff! Fabulous location. Food too cater for everyone! Would definitely recommend.

We are just back from a 6 night stay with our 5 and 3 year old. Highly recommend for a family. Location is superb. Have been to Tenerife before but never to Costa Adeje. The surrounding area is fabulous with plenty of bars and restaurants. Beach right in front of hotel with private access. Rooms are spotless and well equipped for a family. Spacious and you have the bonus of a kitchen area should you need it. Plenty of space. Loved the touch of having colouring pages and crayons for our kids on arrival to keep them busy in the room. So much for kids to keep them entertained. Staff are excellent and so friendly with all the kids. The only points of negativity I would have would be the food, it really wasn't great at all, I found the buffet selection extremely poor and barely ate for the time i was there, and then when I did eat I was violently ill for 24 hours. The kids club was fantastic and the soft play was an added bonus. My only suggestion or somewhat gripe I would have would be the ages. My son is 4 in a few weeks and he was too big for the baby club really and there was nothing to do for him. I understand the kids club caters from 4-12 years but I really think there should be a mini club from say 3.5 years to 7 years and a maxi club from 8-12 years as most other hotels we have visited have. I do think 12 is too much of a gap to be playing alongside a 4 year old. We went half board and if we could have had the option to just do self catering or b and b I absolutely would have done so as food was definitely the biggest disappointment. It wouldn't stop us coming back though as everything else was fantastic and our kids absolutely loved it.
