Riu Garoe

I believe that this was our 5th stay at this Hotel. We have found it to be very relaxing and quiet. The location is ideal for the Botanical Gardens and the hotel is in a residential area. There is lots to see if you are able to walk without problems. They do a curtsey bus to Puerto de la Cruz. Plenty to choose from when it comes to meals. I have tried various small amounts of different things just to see if I like them so as not to waste if it wasn't to my taste. Entertainment is very low key and it depends on what you like. Staff very friendly and Reception have good knowledge and very helpful. When we first started to come to this Hotel we were wary as they have children, but that hasn't been a problem. Rooms are very clean and all the area's throughout the Hotel. Pool area you will see this being wiped down after various people get out of the pool to keep the tiles around from being over wet and slippery so other people can get about without being slipping. We have enjoyed coming here and we have now arranged to go again in December.

Excellent hotel. Outstanding staff throughout. Juan Carlos deserves a special mention for his indefatigable energy. Always moving fast to seat clients and assist his team when required. Restaurant staff all well trained and fast to meet your requirements. Thanks to all- Sonja, John, Rossrio and others.Staff across the hotel like family, having been here for years and mostly living in surrounding villages. Bar staff attentive and quickly get to know your preferred drinks! Reception staff deal with queries in all languages efficiently and in a friendly manner. Gustavo on the pool deserves a call for his helpful work in setting up/ clearing subbed but always a step ahead of clients in meeting their needs. Thanks Gustavo! Welcome to new manager Javier. We love this hotel and will be back in 2027. Peaceful quiet and relaxing stay. Staff are great. Food amazing and the hotel is spotless.

Excellent hotel located at outskirts of Puerto de la Cruz. The location is quiet and relaxing. If you want to go downtown, it is a 20 minute walk to the centre, which can be done also using the shuttle service of the hotel. The personal is extremly polite, professional and helpful. The rooms are nice and spacious and have modern furnishings. The buffet for breakfirst and dinner is fully equipment. I personally enjoyed the fresh salads and vegetables. Fish and meat are freshly prepared right before the guests' eyes. Bar with daily changing evening events was each day an excellent finish.

Love this hotel food is great and pool very chilled
