Spacious apartments with huge balconies. The apartments are large and airy. Cleaning standards are superb. Reception staff are friendly and efficient. We have stayed in the non refurbishment suites many times with good results.

Great hotel with amazing staff, we stay here a couple of times a year and always find ourselves coming back, food is good with a wide varied selection. Would highly recommend a visit to the aqua restaurant in the hotel, service and dining experience was excellent. Nicely tucked up in the cliff side eith panoramic views over los gigantes, and taxi from the town is around 4 euro. We feel this hotel would benefit from an outside bar in an evening to continue to enjoy the stunning views 😎

We really loved our 7 night stay. We arrived late - midnight- after a delayed flight but there was food waiting for us in the apartment which was a welcome touch. No tea. coffee or milk is provided ( we had our own tea and coffee but no milk) and we would have loved a hot drink after a tough journey. Something to bear in mind if arriving late. The apartment was dated in decor but extremely roomy , comfortable and everything fully functioning. There was a large bathroom with modern shower and we were pleased with the fridge freezer in the kitchen as we could keep ice for our drinks. We were very comfortable and slept well. The views were mesmerising and we really felt very relaxed all the time we were there. There were plenty of sunbeds by the pool but of course one always has the option to stretch out on the sunbeds situated on the balcony. Breakfast was excellent - delicious in every way and we loved the breads and cake ( that Mary’s cake was lush!) to go with our fruit and good coffee. Cooked breakfast was great too. We sat outside every day for breakfast and evening meal; what a treat it was especially watching the sunset. The evening meals were good with plenty of salads and a wide choice of hot dishes. A lot of effort went into planning and presenting the food. Everything was clean and the place is well - organised and staff very friendly. We had taken insulated bottles and were so glad of the cold water stations where we could refill them. We did go to Lidl and to Mercadona to get some bits for lunch and for our liquids. It was not a bad walk at all. The walk down to the harbour is manageable and we punctuated the uphill walk back with a beer stop. Any excuse but this was a good one as it is quite a trek! We would definitely return. In fact we will return! Thank you to everyone who made our stay so very enjoyable.

My husband and I have recently returned from a 9 night stay at the Royal sun. We really enjoyed it. The apartments and balconies are huge, although a bit dated they were very clean, as was the whole of the hotel. The hotel is a bit of a trek away from everything, los gigantes is a small town near the marina, takes roughly 15mins walk down hill, coming back up hill in the heat is a struggle, but taxis are very cheap. The staff are all so nice, Paula on reception was lovely and friendly and very helpful. The restaurant staff as well. I can't remember all their names but the ones I remember were: Manu, Sergue,Rocia, Tara, Enza and the lovely Mari who works in the kitchen..you must try her Mary's cake. My husband unfortunately had a little accident at breakfast..he caught he's arm on the table and made it bleed, the staff could not do enough to help, they were so attentive and caring..the life guard Robert was there in a instant and cleaned and dressed he's arm. The food was very good for both breakfast and evening meals. Gui gui the entertainment guy was very good and friendly as was our room cleaner Yazia who did an excellent job. We would definitely consider returning to this super hotel in the future. Thank you Royal sun for a very memorable holiday. Miss you all now.

I cannot praise this stay enough,3 more trips back planned with family and friends. Apartment equipped with everything you could need,best of all the balcony, views amazing. All staff lovely , food great. Just loved it
