Tagoro Family & Fun, Costa Adeje

Brilliant family holiday – would happily return! We had a brilliant holiday at Tagoro Family & Fun and would happily return. It's a great hotel for families, with plenty to do throughout the day and evening, meaning you could easily spend the whole day at the hotel. The pools were great, the pool area was always clean, and there was a lovely atmosphere. There were activities throughout the day, and the splash pool was great for the kids. We particularly liked the indoor activity at 3pm, which gave the children a break from the sun. The entertainment was brilliant, with something different every night and plenty for both kids and adults. All the staff were lovely. A special mention to the lady cooking pancakes at breakfast, who remembered exactly how my daughter liked hers by the end of the week, and the fun chef at the snack bar who wore different masks to entertain the children. The entertainment team, including Enzo, and the kids' club staff were fantastic too. There was plenty of choice in the main restaurant, and even our picky eaters were happy! There was a good selection of fruit and vegetables, a kids' section and child-friendly plates and cutlery. We had lunch at the snack bar most days and were happy with the options there too. The all-inclusive drinks selection was great. The only thing we would have liked was ice cream included at the snack bar, as this was an extra charge. We stayed in a standard Deluxe room, with the girls sleeping on the sofa bed, and it suited us perfectly. Housekeeping came daily, and the hotel was always being cleaned and well looked after. The location is a little outside the main area, but there are two supermarkets within a five-minute walk. The beach is around a 20-minute walk downhill, or taxis were only about €4, so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and would happily recommend this hotel to other families. We're already looking at returning! We booked direct with hotel and received free tickets for Aqualand and booking direct was definitely the best value for money! A great all inclusive holiday for the price we paid!

Naturally when you read the reviews at a hotel and see a mixture of good and bad, you start to wonder what you are going to get. However, I feel it’s best to bullet point the main points here: > excellent hotel for families with children > rooms were clean and large which exceeded expectation > splash pool area for children situated away from main pool which I considered a good thing > quite difficult to navigate around with a pram but not impossible, just longer routes > couldn’t fault the food - always seemed fresh and plenty of options > staff were really helpful and friendly > great entertainment for children > really good shuttle bus service into Costa Adeje Overall we would give the hotel and stay 8/10 - it’s probably not quite a 4* but that’s not to take away from the fact that it has everything you could want for an all inclusive hotel for families.

Came on a family holiday 4 adults 1 child. Firstly our room was spacious and cleaned well , the other room smelt damp and they got moved the same day . Couldn't fault staff weather cleaning, bar staff always polite and helpful. The layout works well and the garden areas well kept . The food in the canteen style area was mostly the same every day , we ate out so could have something different. Limited choice in the kids section, no plastic cups or cutlery on many occasions. Never any sunbeds around pool , towels go on beds early and left all day . No one takes any notice when pools closed . Kids entertainment wasn't great, perhaps longer spells, bingo spoilt it in the middle. The play room we visited was wasted space and could do with more for smaller kids . The main town is up hill coming back, not so bad going downhill , but would advise to get taxi back, about 6 euros . Liked the main town, plenty of bars and restaurants.

3* hotel at best. We had a very disappointing 7 day stay with our family. The cleanliness of the hotel in general was poor, after check in we had to get cleaners in to go over the room again as a lot had been missed including not removing stale food and old milk from the fridge. Lots of fag ends and empty cups left around the pool side that never seemed to be cleaned up. In general a lot of areas of the hotel were tired and grubby. The food was bad almost every day, we decided to eat out most days. A lot of cold or stale food and generally lacking any flavour. No fresh juices on offer either. It always felt chaotic in the restaurant as well, far too many people for the size of it. On several ocassions we picked up dirty plates, glasses and cups as well. The snack bar wasn't any better either and there always seemed to be a bad smell around it. Drinks selection wasn't very good, only one night outnof the 7 could we get a mojito and your choice of drinks depended on which bar was open. The pool bar offered cocktails from a machine that looked like dish water. Our room was very spacious with a huge balcony area that was completely private. However, there is a bar across the road that played music so loud it felt like the speaker was in your room. This went on until midnight and even half 1 on one night! Our room had a jacuzzi bath which was very grubby, one evening I turned it on only for stinking water to pour out. The smell didn't leave our room for hours. The only positives about our stay was that the hotel is around a 15 minute walk to Costa Adeje beach front which is lovely and has lots to do, but there are definitely much nicer looking 4 star hotels closer to the front. The staff all seemed nice and friendly and the gym was well equipped but unfortunately I can't say any more than that. We would not be staying again.

We have just finished a weeks stay at the tagoro and couldn't fault it very family oriented. What I love is that there was no sunlounger scrambling in a morning there was a big main pool and baby pool where all the main activities were then a splash park with a slide at the other side of the hotel which was much quieter we swapped to both most days and had no problem getting a spot. Food was what you would expect from all inclusive but most nights there was a theme.we didn't eat our once Nighttime entertainment looked fab although that's not our thing. Last day we opted to keep the room until 2pm at 45 euros and the lovely lady on reception said we could keep our bands until we was being picked up at quarter to 5. The rooms are spacious we booked a deluxe and loved we had a patio and little garden.We are planning are staying at the sister hotel in Lanzarote next year but we would definitely come bk
