Tropical Park

Recently just got back from a surprise holiday for my husband. Location was great if you are looking for a nice quiet area to spend with family - however only a short taxi ride away from Fanabe Plaza if you are looking for a fair few more restaurants and strip experience. Hotel was clean, staff professional and welcoming. WiFi within the facility was very temperamental at times unless by the pool area you could select a different WiFi. Would continue to drop out. Wasn’t and overall issue but something to be aware of Free towels usage for the week and hotel room was perfect size for self catering. The only one big bare for us was the beds and pillow. Bed (mattress) very hard and pillows just meh! Plenty of facilities around the hotel and within the self catering all appliances available. We didn’t spend much time in the hotel itself due to us being self catering but plenty of areas to socialise and what we could see lots of others enjoying the aspects of what available to them. A great time spent for the 3 of us and would highly recommend!!

A mixed feeling about this place, we booked a 4 night stay and left after 1 night. The room is fantastic and well equipped for a self catering holiday full size fridge and oven, large balcony great bathroom very modern the pools were a good size lots of sun beds etc no huge rush to veg to them, the staff friendly very clean hotel, But the amount of stairs and hills at the hotel we were not prepared for and it’s so very quiet, like 20years too old for us quiet. The surrounding area lacks any kind of vibe at night, during the day the beach is also not very inviting, but that said if you want a quiet break and you don’t mind hills and stairs this place is for you. It’s probably a great place if you venture out by car, but we were on foot so on this occasion It wasn’t really for us.

Perfect for Family's & couples with children, good for couples without children too, great swimming pool, lots of good local restaurants & pubs, free parking your hire car on the street, great position for exploring the island like mount, banana 🍌 liquor farms, los Cristianos, Play Americas etc, Tenerife has alot to offer old or young family's.

This hotel could be an absolute jem. Its very clean, pools are lovely gradual incline so beautiful if you are not confident at swimming. They are not freezing aswell, two pools that could have been good for adults only on the top pool but wasnt and a hot tub. The accomodation is beautiful large apartment with patio area [ we were in 117] the shower only worked from the attachment though but still good but would have been nice to experience the rain shower. Quiet and peaceful. We also emailed ahead as it was our anniversary and on arrival had cava and chocs in the room .... a nice touch. Housekeeping and cleaniness were excellent. The things that let it down was .... the food breakfast wasnt too bad but lunch and dinner was poor. Hardly no choice and was cold. There was absoutely no entertaiment except a roof top bar that didnt have anything except the normal stuff they couldnt even accomodate a wine wine and soda!!!! Very quiet in the evenings. Suvh a shame as if the food and entertaiment was upped this would be a great place and well deserved 4 star. The local area was full of bars and eateries that were pretty ok. Local buses were good. Area is very quiet and you need to get out of the area and explore.

While marketed as a 4-star resort, our stay felt closer to a 3-star experience at best due to overly strict policies and an unwelcoming atmosphere where guests often felt treated like an inconvenience. The Positives: > The hotel is kept clean, and the pool area is nice. A special mention goes to the two gentlemen running the children's pool activities, they were warm and engaging with the kids. Areas Needing Improvement: * Inflexible policies: We witnessed staff make a family with a young child feel very uncomfortable over minor pool water drips indoors. When the family moved 10 feet outside to an open table to resolve it, staff told them they couldn't eat there—despite no signage indicating food wasn't allowed. * Premature breakfast pack-down: Breakfast is advertised until 10:30 AM, but by 10:15 AM staff had already removed major food items (including breakfast muffins) and switched off the toaster. The staff tone was abrupt, leaving guests feeling like a hassle simply for coming down during advertised hours. * Abupt Unexpected evening shutdown: While we expected all-inclusive drinks to stop at 11:00 PM, it is not made clear to guests that the hotel completely shuts down all seating areas at that time. Staff immediately begin packing away cushions and beanbags, lock up the main lounge, and essentially kick everyone out. Leaving guests with no communal space to sit and socialize past 11:00 PM feels far too regimented for a holiday setting. * Limited dining: The buffet selection was basic overall, with particularly sparse options for vegetarians. I have rarely experienced a resort where staff attitude made customers feel like such an inconvenience. Aside from the excellent pool activity team, the resort felt managed entirely for staff convenience rather than guest comfort. With a major shift toward warmth, flexibility, and real customer service, this could be a better place, but currently and from our experience it falls well short of 4-star expectations.
