TUI SUNEO Globales Tamaimo Tropical

Last minute booking and had mixed feelings after reading some reviews. Did email hotel to request a room higher up and nearer friend which they very nicely did. Token system works well for drinks and keeps the place clean and tidy, but if you take your own, they gladly fill it and does cut down on plastic waste. Staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are very spacious with a separate living area and balcony. Bathroom was equipped with hairdryer and a great shower. Our aircon wasn’t the best but they did try to sort No need to get up at stupid o’clock to get a sun bed as they have an abundance of them Restaurant food was always hot and a good Selection of hot and cold food to cater for everyones tastes including a daily paella type dish ( after all we are in Spain) Had a fabulous 11 nights stay and would recommend and visit again

Pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews. All staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. Great shower. We were on the top floor with views of the mountains and the quiet pool The token system is a great idea and keeps the place clean as glasses are not left lying around and staff don't have to waste time and resources collecting them. The food is excellent with a decent choice without going over the top. We stayed for 11 nights and didn't eat the same thing twice. The food was also always lovely and hot. We have stayed in 4 star hotels where the food has been warm and the same things each day whereas here we had sufficient variety and enjoyed every meal. The only thing that could be looked at is the number of staff serving at the bar as the queues were long at peak times. Apart from that, we have no complaints and would recommend this as excellent value for money. Thankyou for a lovely holiday.

Missing function of aircon. We have paid for a room with aircon, a campain room from TUI. When we arrived we soon got the room, but when we arrived at the room at the 5 floor, we soon found out that all aircons didnt work, but no direct info in the information, before entering the room. We then ask the woman in the information about this aircon and she said i will be fixed the day after, but we soon realised that other guests had experienced the same history as us and their aircons have also not been working, for the hole holiday. Drain hose stinks There were also claims from other customers about the drain hose under the sink in the bath room, we also had a stinking flexible hose under our sink, it stank like sulfur, this flexible hose is very thin and the smell goes directly through it, ohh my God. Totally overbooked Hotel. This hotel couldent do anything about these aircons, they were not able to give us a room with aircon as we have paid for, also not an upgrade, cause the hotel is totally overbooked. What a shame. No compensation No compensation was received, and no information was provided by the hotel management during the stay. The food were actually good and the intertainment guys also. BR. A disappointed customer

**Third Visit. Still Great Value, but Choose Your Dates Carefully!** We've stayed at the Globales Tamaimo Tropical three times now, May 2024, January 2026 and October 2026, and have thoroughly enjoyed all three visits. The biggest attraction is the value for money. Our latest seven-night all-inclusive holiday cost less than £1,000 for two people. The rooms have always been spacious and clean, housekeeping is excellent, and the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and hardworking. We've consistently enjoyed the food, with plenty of choice. We'd particularly recommend booking the à la carte restaurant, although it's closed Sundays and Mondays. The entertainment caters for different nationalities and there's usually plenty going on. We prefer the quieter pool, which offers a more relaxed atmosphere than the main pool. One tip is to bring your own reusable plastic drinking glasses. The main bar opens at 10am round the main pool and 12 at the quieter pool. The main bar always has more queues than the quieter pool, but never too busy. Our October visit coincided with school half term, and the hotel was noticeably busier. The dining room could be hot, noisy and crowded, with queues at peak times. The air conditioning was also disappointing compared with previous visits. Tables around the quieter pool weren't always cleared quickly enough. We wouldn't personally return during half term, but that shouldn't discourage families. We simply prefer a quieter holiday. **A word about the location:** There's not a huge amount immediately around the hotel, and you need to be prepared for hills and walking. There are around 120 steps to the top of the resort, and it's a fair walk to the beach. That said, it's well worth exploring. Head downhill to the wonderful black sand beach, uphill to the shops and supermarkets, or uphill and back down towards the lovely Los Gigantes marina, where you can book boat trips to see the local marine wildlife. Just remember, you'll have to tackle those hills on the way back! **Would we return? Definitely, particularly in May.** It's not five-star luxury, but the staff, food, cleanliness and value make it a hotel we're happy to recommend. Four stars from us, and we'd happily visit for a fourth time.

The hotel wasnt what I expected. There was a system in which you trade in tokens for 2 cups for me and my wife these cups are for your all inclusive drinks. Everytime you want a drink you take the 2 cups back and they give you 2 clean cups and you repeat the process. I found this a bit annoying and the staff said it was due to a problem with plastic in tenerife which is fair enough. The room was a bit worn looking damage to the door and couch and i felt like the pictures didnt match the room really. But overall the room wasnt that bad just not great. We had 2 cockroaches in the room during our stay and we met people at the pool who had multiple cockroaches and either a mouse or rat in their room apparently. The food wasnt great either and it was a bit of a free for all at the buffet. People acting like they had never ate before hovering over your shoulder and more or less barging in to get food ive never seen grown adults act like that at a buffet before id rather eat out wasnt good. The staff were a bit rude not all but some. One of the guys at the pool bar in particular and also my wifes all inclusive band came off and the guy who takes you to your room when you first arrive was all smiles he couldnt have been over any faster to moan about the band and to get a new one hovering near us at the pool. The girls at reception were very nice though and th3 cleaners aswell. They did let us keep our all inclusive until the coach arrived which was good to be fair. Theres more but ill leave it at that. We got a good price for 2 people all inclusive for a week so you get what you pay for but in future id spend a bit more for something better. This is the first bad review ive gave on a holiday but im just being honest I wouldnt go back to this hotel.
