GF Gran Costa Adeje

Firstly this is stunning massive hotel, its clean and has everything you could want. On arrival a porter took our suitcases to our rooms, the lifts are also glass which was cool. As for the bedrooms, their lovely sizes with a seating area, balcony, his/hers bathroom (with separate toilet). They have loads of storage, tea & coffee making facilities, fridge etc. Personally I felt the beds were quite firm and the pillows too thin I used their big square cushions. I also wish they had plugs by the mirrors for straightening/drying hair etc. My only other gripe is I wish they had better air con, Ive noticed this a lot with Spain recently. As for the pool area there are always sunbeds as you cant reserve before 10am even though people try, their towels do get removed. Entertainment from team aquagym etc was really good everyday. Food - Breakfast was lovely it has everything you can think of from full english (inc english bacon), omelettes, fruit, yoghurt, breads etc. Dinner was very random nights they had different nights like moroccan, mexican, indonesian, english, italian, canaries, Spanish, asian but some nights were very questionable. They always had a pizza and pasta station, chef would always be cooking something each night and then a variety of other dishes. They also had fruit/ice cream and a chocolate fountain every night. There was a card system for brekky/dinner which is hard work to remember to take every time which they cross off each visit to the restaurant. It would have been easier if it was on your room key or something. Staff were always friendly and helpful in all areas of the hotel. The location was next door to the duke shops which had lovely foods and a supermarket with everything you should need. It was about a 10min walk to town and 15-20 back as mostly uphill. Overall a lovely hotel and couldnt fault it maybe just the food choices in the evening.

Currently staying here, Absolutley amazing! Staff are so attentive, cleanliness is 1000%, the room we had was fab! Can’t fault it. Would stay here again in the future.

It was my second visit to the hotel, and the first post the renovations. This hotel has a lot of plus points. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and were cleaned daily. It would have been helpful to have had a plug socket near to the mirror ie to use a hairdryer. The air-conditioning seems much improved from what it was pre refurbishment. The hotel has a welcoming and friendly feel, the staff are helpful and friendly, the pool areas are spacious, clean and we never had a problem getting sun beds. The adult only pool is a nice alternative, and the new facilities ie slides, splash area are good additions. A late afternoon departure was easily managed, with check out at 12pm, and courtesy showers and a luggage room available. The food in the buffet restaurant is acceptable....not amazing, but we always found something to eat. We were half board, but switched dinner to lunch a few times, so we could eat out in the evening, otherwise we could have got bored of the dinners. The staff in the restaurant always seemed to be hard working, although I had an encounter with one grumpy waiter, which could have just been him having a bad day....he wasn't happy with us sitting at a table with more place settings than the number of people, even though we had struggled to find a clean table at all. The main restaurant issue I had is table service for hot drinks at breakfast - we had sometimes half finished breakfast before we got our drinks. I would much prefer self service coffee and hot water machines. I would definitely return, if I come back to Costa Adeje.

We are here right now . Do not understand why some people give this hotel bad review . They need to wake up . The price is really good to come here . If you want a ritz hotel then pay a ritz price . Rooms and bathroom lovely and so big . Hotel is spotless . Food so far nice great choice . But then you can not please everyone . Pool area so big with loads of nice and comfortable thick padded sun beds. not the cheap plastic ones you get in low star hotels. So far the entertainment is good, the performances are great. All the staff are nice and pleasant . In this world you only get what you pay for and this hotel strikes the balance for what you pay and what you get . Well done GF group hotels . I would recommend anyone to come here .

Always go to this hotel. Love the food, atmosphere and always spotless rooms. Feel at home here as been so many times.
