Hotel La Perla

The location was ideal, a short walk to the lake and town centre. The hotel was spotless, only four floors with two lifts so no waiting, the staff in reception, dining room and cleaning were all fantastic and so friendly and professional. The buffet food was of a very high quality with plenty of choice that would satisfy anyone, with free wine with your evening meal (we went half board) The swimming pool was huge and was never packed, so plenty of sun beds. To summarise , the hotel was absolutely perfect all pros and no cons. Well done to all the staff.

Had a wonderful time at La perla, this was our first time visiting Lake Garda and we had a lovely time. The hotel was in a great location, 2 mins from bus station, 5 -7 min walk to ferry terminal, the lake, and 5 mins to restaurants, bars, and shops, absolutely perfect. The hotel itself is very popular, many people have stayed multiple times, super clean, rooms are small and I had realised this when we booked, but this was not an issue at all. The staff are amazing, so professional and friendly. I loved the pool area, huge pool, loads of sunbeds, great pool bar. Food in the hotel was very good and evening meal included wine, what's not to like. Not a negative , just something my other half wasn't keen on, you are assigned a table for your stay for the restaurant, didn't bother me at all, nice to talk to people, but he didn't like having to make conversation every evening with people you were sat near every night. Highly recommend this hotel fabulous!

We’d always wanted to visit Lake Garda, and two friends recommended Hotel La Perla. It turned out to be a real hidden gem. The location is perfect – close enough to Garda town to walk there in just a couple of minutes, yet far enough away to be peaceful and quiet, mini-market is a couple of minutes across the road. The bus station is around the corner. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean, quiet, and serviced every day. We booked half board, and as I’m gluten-free I was really impressed with breakfast. There’s a dedicated gluten-free station, a separate toaster, and a good variety of options. There are a few good GF lunch options at the pool, which are charged to your room. Dinner, however, was the only disappointment for me. There were very few gluten-free choices, and many of the main dishes were based around lamb or pork, which I don’t eat. If you’re not restricted by diet, you may have a different experience. Would I stay here again? Absolutely. Next time, though, I’d book on a bed and breakfast basis and eat out in Garda town, where there are plenty of excellent senza glutine (gluten-free) restaurants and cafés. Overall, I’d happily recommend Hotel La Perla and would definitely return.

This is a really well run hotel and for its 3 star rating probably gives other 4 star hotels a run for their money. Our stay at Hotel La Perla in Garda was absolutely superb from beginning to end. The food was the real standout. Without exaggeration, it was the best food we have ever had in a hotel, and unquestionably the best overall hotel dining experience we have enjoyed. The quality, variety and presentation were consistently excellent, making every meal something to look forward to. The staff were equally impressive: attentive, highly competent, genuinely friendly and always willing to help. Paulo and Emilia deserve a special mention. They looked after us wonderfully and combined real professionalism with such warmth and friendliness that they made our stay feel particularly special. The rooms and facilities were of an excellent standard, with very effective air conditioning and outstanding daily maid service. Everything was kept spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. The pool area is spectacular, with full poolside service that makes it very easy to spend an entire day relaxing there. A particularly lovely touch was the staff coming around the pool several times each day offering guests complimentary fresh melon. It summed up the thoughtful and generous approach of the hotel perfectly. The location is also superb. The bus stop is literally around the corner, providing easy access to destinations all around Lake Garda, while the centre of Garda is close at hand. Hotel La Perla delivers exceptional food, wonderful service, excellent facilities and a brilliant location. We could not recommend it more highly and would return without hesitation. Absolutely superb.
