Hotel Nettuno

We spent a week at this hotel, where getting a good night's sleep was made very difficult. The hotel is located next to an extremely busy road that only became quiet for a few hours in the early morning. In addition, every sound from the neighboring rooms could be heard clearly through the walls. The noise problem became even worse during the weekend. This hotel may be suitable for people who sleep during the day and stay awake at night. The service level among the staff was inconsistent. The restaurant staff seemed somewhat indifferent, whereas the reception staff were genuinely friendly, professional, and highly competent. To top it all off, the extra blanket provided in the wardrobe, although sealed in plastic, smelled strongly of fresh vomit. The hotel's location is both a strength and a weakness. It is right by the lake, but also directly next to an extremely busy and noisy road. If you decide to stay here, make sure to request a lake-facing room if you want any chance of sleeping well at night.

Excellent hotel. Great lakeside location. Not too close to the busy centre but still only a 5 minute walk into the town. Wonderful staff especially Ferdinando, Bakary and Emmanuel in the restaurant plus all the ladies on reception. The cleaning staff kept our room immaculate. Thank you

Excellent hotel breakfast. Nice pool area. Location close to the Garda sea. Short walk to the centre of beautiful Bardolino with lots of restaurants, shops etc.

Today is our last day and we don't want to leave the beautiful hotel Nettuno and bardolino. We were here for a week for our 30th anniversary and could not have chosen a better hotel or location. The hotel is situated right on the lake with glorious views from the restaurant and terrace. We had a balcony room (118) which over looked the main entrance but it was lovely people watching. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. All of the staff were lovely and attentive. All of our meals at the hotel have been delicious. Location wise we could not have been happier, close enough to enjoy bardolino and not too close to be overwhelming. Great links for walking to Garda and for ferries. Thank you so much for a lovely week, we certainly hope to return here one day.

The hotel was in a lovely quiet location by the lakeside yet only a 5/10 minute walk into the beautiful town and harbour of Bardolino. The food was excellent and restaurant staff were friendly and attentive.The hotel was well laid out and maintained and was spotlessly clean. Rooms were very comfortable and a good nights sleep had every night. The reception staff were great and helped us with maps, bus and ferry timetable and general enquiries. The pool area was great, quiet and plenty of sun beds to go round.
