Hotel Nettuno

The staff were all excellent, from Alex trying to recreate HP sauce to reception bringing extra sun loungers from another hotel when they were all occupied by towels. Everyone made our stay perfect.

We have just returned from a week at Nettuno (2 adults, 1.child) Our room was spacious with a double and sofa bed, modern and clean. We had a room on the same side as the hotel entrance (facing the opposite side of the lake) and despite being close to a road there was little more than the occasional passing vehicle so traffic was not a factor at all. Room had mini fridge and kettle which was handy, large desk which was also handy, and full air conditioning which was a godsend. Location is fantastic, overlooking the lake and a 5-10 minute walk into the centre of Bardolino. For getting around the dock in Bardolino is close but we also walked 5 minutes towards the main road to make use of bus travel which was also close by. Staff were all very nice, I didn't catch everyone's names unfortunately but Theresa and Alex were both particularly nice to our daughter, which seem like little things but really make the difference. The pool area was great, just the right size so it was calm and never crowded and there was plenty of space. Only once or twice did we struggle for sunbeds but that was around lunchtime which can be expected. Dinner choices were excellent and varied a salad bar followed by two course and dessert with table service selected from a set menu. The breakfast was a buffet style with continental style, pastries, cereal and yoghurt, pancakes and cooked options so also very good. (The only small issue we had was upon arrival at midday, our room wasn't ready until 2-3pm or so. While this is quite standard to have check-in times it's less expected when booking through a hotel provider who set the arrival time. However this was a very minor issue and more feedback for the provider) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nettuno and would happily visit again

Fabulous hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had for 3 friends was great. There was plenty of room and a a balcony at the front of the hotel to watch the world go by. We stayed half board. The breakfast was great, setting you up for the day. Evening meal was tasty and different each day. Waiting staff were great especially Therese, Santiago and Bakary. Valentina and Linda in the bar were brilliant as well. Sorry if I've missed anyone out. I do forget names. Definitely a hotel I'd recommend for firstly staff as they are amazing and secondly location. You won't be disappointed staying here.

We had a lovely week at the Hotel Nettuno the staff were very friendly & nothing was any trouble ,my husband was presented with a piece of cake with a candle for his birthday a very nice touch .It was all very clean down to dedicated staff

Superb holiday. Staff polite , helpful and friendly. Very clean. Food brilliant. Will definitely be back to this hotel.
