Hotel Palace Viareggio

Loved every moment of our stay. The hotel is beautiful with elegance and character. Our room had a fabulous shower, modern wardrobe space, USB sockets, mini fridge, air con was perfect too. I must say the cleaning staff are wonderful as the rooms are pristine. We slept so well ! Breakfast is in a stunning room and incredibly varied and generous. We looked forward to it every morning. A special mention to Gabriela who absolutely has everything running smoothly. The staff again always served well and with a smile. We had dinner twice at the roof top restaurant and it is well worth a visit. The food was delicious and we were lucky to enjoy the sunset and then a full moon ! Alexander was fabulous. From the moment we arrived we felt looked after and could ask for advice at the helpful reception. Eda was so lovely as were the rest of the team. Worth noting, we collected beach towels at reception and charged €3 per towel. Just be mindful if you return daily you are charged €3 each time. We kept ours in the room after day 2. It would be nice to have complementary beach towels however the cost to launder them is understandable. There is no iron or ironing board permitted in the room. We asked though and it was set up in a room near reception to use. Good to know. Truly magical hotel that still has a heart. Can’t wait to return !

Lovely staff in a fabulous hotel. The roof top bar and restaurant are particularly good. Our corner room with two balconies was perfect for relaxing and watching the world go by.

That was a great experience! We returned to Palace hotel again this year in August and enjoyed our stay even more than last year. Everyone working at the reception was accommodating and went the extra mile for us. Even though some staff members have changed since last year, the new team members demonstrated strong customer service skills and excellent knowledge. The rooms were always clean, and the housekeeping team did an excellent job. I also really appreciated that they provided different types of pillows to meet individual needs, which was awesome and made our stay even more comfortable. Compared to last year, we noticed many more guests during breakfast, but we never felt that we had to wait any longer to get our meals. The beach was also more crowded than last year. My point is that the hotel continues to provide high-quality service to its guests. Now I understand why there were so many more guests than last year, it seems that the hotel’s good service and overall quality are attracting not only returning guests but also many new ones.
