Park Hotel Marinetta

The hotel is in a stunning location. A short walk to the private beach with its own cafe, toilets and showers. Lovely pool for adults too. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We booked half board and so had a buffet breakfast and a buffet dinner. The selection of food and quality of food on offer was excellent. Our superior room had an incredibly comfortable queen sized bed and everything that we needed. The panoramic view of the pine trees, mountains and sea from the balcony was beautiful. Our room was serviced daily and we were very well looked after by Olga. There is a very reasonably priced supermarket opposite the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend the hotel if you want a relaxing holiday.

Just got back from a fantastic break at this hotel. We stayed in the Comfort Room which I think is the cheapest and we were on a B&B package. Here are the good bits: - Brilliant staff, super friendly and helpful - Brilliant beach with a few beach bars, lifeguards and amazing sunsets - always sunbeds available - Lovely breakfast, tasty food, lots of variety including a table with traditional Italian dishes that change each day - Nice pool area just for kids (baby pool and deeper/larger pool) and also a super quiet adults pool. Sunbeds always available at both even during peak school holiday season - Large-ish supermarket and a number of restaurants outside the hotel - Great location for sightseeing - Not many 'Brits abroad' which was great! - Entertainment was low key - guitarists and singers - quite good - Beautiful surroundings and a short walk through the pine forest to get to the beach and the not so good bits: - The room was fine but the bathroom needed a revamp - it was a 3* bathroom at best. I asked for an area to be repaired and cleaned - it was done within a few hours which was great - There were quite a few dogs in the hotel which we didn't expect - Italian people taking their dogs on holiday. We don't mind dogs but a few yappy ones did wake me up on a few occasions. - When we did eat dinner at the hotel it was expensive and not really worth what we paid. - The Hendricks bar in reception should be open for longer hours - there were quite a few guests there during the day that could have ordered a coffee or soft drink for example but it was shut - Lifeguard at the kids pool - one of them was on his phone quite a bit - Kids pool step ladders need repairing - bit wobbly I would recommend this hotel and I'd be happy to return. It had a lovely homely feel to it and it was a good base for our trip.

Park Marinetta has 2 large swimming pools (one for adults and the other for children, with a lifeguard which is unusual these days). Rooms are comfortable, with AC, and their own private balcony. The breakfast is truly fantastic, huge variety for all including those with particular food preferences/allergies. Lobby and lounge area were comfortable with many options for group seating. There is also entertainment if that's your thing. We went to the private beach, which was lovely. Lots of loungers and again, lifeguards present. It's about a 45min drive from Pisa airport and there are water parks and activity parks nearby. Something to consider because the town of Marina di Bibbona is very small with limited options for things to do. If you want a quiet seaside/poolside break it's perfect. The restaurant/shop owners are may be not the friendliest people either (we're a family of colour, not Italian or italian-speaking). The language is a problem but hey it's their country though for a seaside town, it is surprising. To be honest, I think the town let's the hotel down.

Well situated and presented hotel with very attentive staff . Facility has 2 pools one for families and one for adults (Although children over 12 can also use) . Breakfast buffet is of the highest quality and variety and the beach bar is also a good option . Very clean

This hotel is lovely. Excellent room (superior double) with a balcony on two sides giving a sea view and a view of the mountains in the distance. The restaurants were all good especially the buffet which had a huge variety of choice. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the staff helpful and friendly. There are two pools - one adults only and the beach was only 5 minutes walk through the forest. We woukd certainly recommend Park Hotel Marianetta.
