Our favorite hotel in Italy! Hotel Sovestro has been, without a doubt, our favorite hotel of our trip through Italy. Everything about our stay was wonderful. The hotel is surrounded by the beautiful Tuscan countryside, just outside San Gimignano, creating the perfect combination of peace, nature and convenience. The grounds are beautifully maintained, the swimming pool is fantastic, and our room was spacious, spotless, extremely comfortable and much better than we could have expected from a three-star hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh, high-quality products and everything needed to start the day perfectly. The restaurant deserves a special mention. We had some truly memorable meals here, including the best beef tartare I have ever tasted. Sergio was incredibly kind and even shared his recipe with us — a wonderful gesture that says a lot about the warmth and generosity we experienced during our stay. But what really makes Hotel Sovestro exceptional is its people. The service is warm, genuine and personal. We felt welcomed and cared for throughout our entire stay, with the kind of hospitality that makes a place feel special rather than simply luxurious. After staying in several excellent four-star hotels during our trip through Italy, we can honestly say that Sovestro surpassed many of them in comfort, service and overall experience. The three-star classification simply does not reflect how good this hotel really is. Beautiful surroundings, excellent rooms, a wonderful pool, delicious food and truly outstanding hospitality. We arrived as guests and left with very special memories of this place. Absolutely recommended. We would return without hesitation.

Wonderful stay at this friendly hotel. So peaceful and such beautiful surroundings. The staff on hand were so friendly and welcoming. They made sure we found our rooms and had help with our luggage without us asking. The food was very nice and the rooms were spacious and very clean. All the staff there were very polite and friendly. It was very close to the town, which was beautiful and well worth a good look around! They have a free little shuttle bus that can take you into the town and pick you up and bring you back. Last shuttle back at 5.20 so if you stay into the evening for food and drinks there is a 1.5 km walk back. The swimming pool was lovely and clean and big enough to get some lengths in! Air conditioned rooms. The WiFi was also good. Thank you for a lovely stay! Would happily return again!

Fantastic location. Lovely family run hotel within their own vineyard, Perfect location to tour Tuscany with Florence and Siena about an hours drive away.However don’t miss the towns and Chianti villages. The family’s attention to detail and service is first class. The restuarant is exceptional - every dinner was top quality and there was a good breakfast selection as well. Rooms comfortable. Great pool with plenty of Sun beds and umbrellas. Highly recommended. and excellent value for money.

Far from the madding crowd. Yes this is the place to go cannot recommend this hotel enough. 2 lovely pools especially the garden 😍 so quiet and you can even walk to san gimignano. A bit uphill going there but easy coming back a special mention of Michael the lovely barman always 😀 there with a cold beer 🍺 and all the best with your new baby 👶. One thing .it would be nice to have a tea or coffee machine in the rooms 🤔 and maybe a bit more warm food at breakfast 🤔

Wonderful family owned hotel in the Tuscan countryside! Everyone was kind and very helpful. There was a fantastic restaurant on site. We ate there every night (except Thursday when they were closed. They did have a breakfast buffet every day with plenty of choices which was great before we went out to explore. We did the wine tasting at the Tenuta Sovestro across the street. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend to family and friends. We did side trips to Siena, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Bologna which were easy day trips.
