Wonderful family owned hotel in the Tuscan countryside! Everyone was kind and very helpful. There was a fantastic restaurant on site. We ate there every night (except Thursday when they were closed. They did have a breakfast buffet every day with plenty of choices which was great before we went out to explore. We did the wine tasting at the Tenuta Sovestro across the street. The hotel was very quiet and the beds were comfortable. Would recommend to family and friends. We did side trips to Siena, Pisa, Cinque Terre and Bologna which were easy day trips.

Best hotel experience I've had for a long time. Location and setting is perfect, a former farm with it's own vineyard. Deceptively large but felt small and intimate. Plenty of parking space and situated just off the main road. A little road noise on our side of the hotel but that subsided in the evening, San Gimignano is perhaps a 25 minute stroll away. Hotel restaurant is excellent - we had dinner there twice in 5 days, very high quality ingredients and the hotel estate's own wine is very good. Breakfasts are generous with plenty of choice and there's even a shop that sells (wine, olive oil and other goods) produced on the estate. Our room and bathroom were well appointed and very clean - serviced daily. Comfy bed, great wardrobe space, refrigerator /mini bar, TV, decent Wi-Fi and an outside terrace. We didn't use the pool (October) but regularly saw staff maintaining everything to a good standard. Staff are actually one of the best assets at this hotel, nothing was too much trouble and they were really helpful throughout our entire stay. I've stayed in Tuscany a few times, this is now my new favourite place to stay in that area. Highly recommended.

Exceptional family run hotel. It felt very homely. Very clean, lovely staff. It’s obvious that great pride is taken in caring for guests in an efficient but unobtrusive manner. Our bedroom was very clean and modern with an authentic feel. Our bed was very comfortable. The restaurant is in typical Etruscan style. The breakfast has a good selection and can be taken inside or on the terrace. Reservation of a table for dinner is recommended and the food is excellent. Finally the family have their own vineyards with the resulting wines being absolutely delicious.

A dedicated family run amazing hotel, brilliant, just brilliant. Rooms well equipped, floors cleaned daily, sheets after 2days, pool(always loungers available:)), drink/food pool service. Vineyard also owned by the family, wine tasting a must. Foc bus shuttle into st gio. Didn’t want to leave… thanks so much.

This Hotel is excellent. The rooms are clean, the food is good and the staff are friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The shuttle service was good, it runs during the day but does not collect in the evening. This is not a problem as there are taxi's available in San Gimignano to get back. We had a problem with parking at a nearby railway station and Agnese on reception very kindly went out of her way to help us sort this out. Thank you so much Agnese. I would highly recommend this hotel.
