The Sense Experience

The property is well maintained and great place to stay. The people working here are the difference. Great all around! The restaurant are awesome with great service, food and setting. However, we stayed here for a week in Jr Suite and the air conditioning didn’t work. Our room didn’t get below 78 degrees, even with being gone all day, drapes closed, bathroom door closed, etc. I spoke to management and they brought in workers and our room never got to a decent temperature (range 78-80 degrees). After long day in the Italian summer heat, you would expect a reprieve in a room of 5 star resort. This was never the case and management did nothing to assist. Maintenance would apologize for the room temp since they can see it on their system, but nothing else. This is second time (and last) staying here due to lack of a solution or honestly caring that our room was uncomfortably hot all day long….and especially at night. We slept on top of the blankets and still miserable due to the temperatures and lack of air flow since the AC didn’t blow. Many other properties on the Tuscan seaside would appreciate customers and their experience on vacation, so I recommend staying somewhere else if you want comfort.

Top tier luxury resort. Excellent value for money. The place appears brand new, with luxurious modern furniture, towels, bedding. Positioned on beautiful sandy beach on a bay. Breakfast was extraordinary- fresh squeezed custom juices, made to order egg dishes, the freshest fruits, cheeses etc - so good. Service was super friendly. 10/10, no notes!

A beautiful two-night stay at The Sense Experience Resort. The atmosphere, the scenery, the sea, the beach, and our lovely room with sea view made the experience truly special. The staff was welcoming and attentive, and we especially appreciated the excellent food and beverage selection. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a refined and memorable escape by the sea.

Had a lovely stay at the Senses resort. Very clean resort, lovely spacious rooms. We especially liked that every guest room had their own allocated beach loungers, table, chair & umbrella, with lots of space around each set of loungers, so guest were not on top of each other or struggling to get a bed. There was also a call button on the sun lounger umbrella, with swift beach drinks service. The pool was again very clean, spacious with the sun loungers, clean toilet & shower facilities. Good Bar service. We had great room service one evening in the room. Food & drinks were very good. We asked for an iron & one was delivered to our room quickly & left for us for the duration of our stay. We did get a taxi from the hotel into the local town for dinner one evening, only problem was was that it was very deserted at nighttime & we really struggled to get a taxi back, so pre book a taxi return if you go there. Lovely to see lots of guest with their dogs at the resort too, very dog friendly. Wonderful stay, would recommend.

Wow! What an experience! Great service and all round care with attention to detail. The room was stunning and the views were incredible. All of the dining experiences were spot on although one day the omelette person at breakfast was clearly a stand in and had no idea what he was doing! The facilities were great and the heated pool was appreciated given the time of year although the sea water was pretty close to a perfect temperature.
