Aesthetically excellent,I experienced racism and my friends too, All incl.is a scam i would have rather booked half board or BB,Southern palms AI is the best alcoholic drinks like Tusker,is incl.You drink and get something to eat anytime you want.....For AI i would rather pick Southern ....is worth for money,DIAMOND TIME MANAGEMENT IS TOP FORGETTING CUSTOMERS COME TO RESET AND REWIND....YOU HAVE TO WORK ON SCHEDULE IS STRESSFULL

Very mixed review, the resort amenities are fantastic and beautifully maintained, the rooms were dismal. Our first room had locked safe, un caulked shower so water went into room and faulty phone, we requested another room at 10am and reception agreed and said a room would be ready soon, , finally at 2.15 we got a new room but we found it had a faulty sliding patio door and no lock. We rang reception 3 times to ask for it to be fixed, at 7.15, yes 5 hours later I asked to speak to the on duty manager at reception to request a indemnity for. If anything went missing from unlocked room...... it took that to get the lock fixed but you needed herculean strength to open it. We gave up then and decided to just not use it, then it rained overnight anfpd the bathroom light filled with water and dripped onto the floor. Again went to reception and explained what was happening, their idea of fixing the problem wad to dry the floor and put down an extra towel. WTF, do they not know water and electricity are a dangerous combination?. We ended up not using the light for the next 3 nights as we had given up on maintenance....... it did rain again so we just put their bathrobes on the floor. The breakfast was varied and great, the dinner buffet we found to be quite boring and bland, even the Indian dishes had no spice,but they had the freshest nann bread straight from the tandor. The desserts were cake based or very soft and mushy, cheesecake with a sponge base was sickly sweet, lucky the had a good variety of fruit. It is a very brave establishment that this is diner's do not need salt and pepper on each table.... it was like roulette with waiters constantly rotating the very few amongst 120 diner's. I do not know how it received the best resort in Africa, probably as the judges never ate or slept there. Our experience was all smiles by the staff but maintenance and the front desk need to follow up on issues, not ignore them. We would not return due to our bad experience

1 STAR – Extremely disappointing stay at Diamonds Golf & Beach Resort, Diani We booked a 14-day all-inclusive holiday at Diamonds Golf & Beach Resort in Diani, Kenya, expecting a relaxing holiday at a resort of a good standard. Unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing, with problem after problem throughout our stay. Luggage problems on arrival After travelling for more than 24 hours, our luggage was not transferred from Nairobi to Mombasa by Kenya Airways. We arrived without our clothes, toiletries and essential medication and spent a considerable amount of time trying to locate our bags and getting assistance. This created a huge amount of stress at the very beginning of our holiday. Room and maintenance problems Our original room, Room 52, had a strong damp/mouldy smell. The TV was not working, the drawers were difficult to use, and the kettle was not working in the evening. There was also a leak underneath the toilet seat, which we found particularly concerning from a hygiene point of view. The bathroom door also hit me on the head, and I was waiting for an accident report to be completed and signed I left the resort and wasn’t never given the report ! Although we were eventually moved to Room G1, moving rooms did not resolve the wider problems with the resort. Housekeeping Housekeeping has also been disappointing. Basic items such as coffee and milk were not consistently replenished, meaning we repeatedly had to call and ask for supplies. For a resort offering an all-inclusive package, this should not be necessary. Food and snacks The buffet food has been very repetitive, with limited variety. The afternoon snack at around 4pm was particularly disappointing. On one occasion, the offering was essentially onion sandwiches with jam, with an almost empty display. I had to ask for cheese, and there was no ham available. For a 14-day all-inclusive holiday, we expected considerably more choice and variety. Bars and service The service has been another major disappointment. There have been occasions when the bars had no snacks and even no juice available. Waiting times at the main bar have also been far too long, and the overall service has often felt very poor. All-inclusive package and extra charges We were also surprised to find that certain drinks were charged separately despite booking an all-inclusive holiday. Wine was not included, and the available sweet white wine was not suitable for our preference. Cappuccino was also charged separately. These exclusions were not something we felt had been clearly explained to us before booking. When paying for an all-inclusive holiday, we expect the inclusions and exclusions to be clearly communicated. Serious concern regarding the swimming pool One of the most concerning incidents occurred while I was swimming in the pool with my partner and other guests. A member of staff began treating/cleaning the pool with a Dayliff pool-treatment chemical while guests were still in the water. There was no warning or instruction for guests to leave the pool. I immediately got out because I was concerned about what was being used in the water. Management and overall experience We did raise our concerns with management. We appreciate that we were eventually moved from Room 52 to another room, but overall we have not felt that the repeated problems with food, housekeeping, service and facilities have been taken seriously enough. The issue is not one isolated problem. It is the number of problems occurring throughout the holiday that has made this experience so disappointing. I have travelled with TUI for several years and have never experienced a holiday with this many problems. We chose this resort expecting a comfortable and enjoyable all-inclusive holiday, but instead we have spent a significant amount of our holiday dealing with problems, making complaints and asking for basic services. At this stage, we are extremely disappointed with our holiday! I would like to say!! George was always extremely kind and polite !! Also miss RESTITUTOR work at the bar extremely professional always giving us the best costumer service and Brendah she has potential customers service is superb . Thank you for looking after us appreciate !

Hotel highly overrated, very poor service, trashes can stay at the table on the beach for 4-5 hours without being picked up by the staff which leads to crows everywhere => not nice at all! Very dirty fridge in my room which was empty when it was supposed to be full as I was in all inclusive. Food very common and not tasty, very little choice and basically every day the same menu or quasi. Main areas are nice but it needs a lot of maintenance done. The staff is very friendly but not working which leads to a very poor service. This si absolutely NOT the standard of & 5 stars hotel, but let’s say 3 stars which still feels a bit too much for me I know many 3 stars hotels à Kenya and Tanzanie with a much better service. All in all I had a disappointing experience there and will definitely stick to my little boutique hotels like Asah Cottage or Water lovers in Diani for my next stay.

I’ve had an amazing stay, and my overall experience was truly incredible. A special shout out to the amazing staff, Mkumbi, Sophie, Lucy, Phelomena, Eric, and so many others. Each and every one of them left such a great impression on me. The fact that I still remember all their names says a lot about the level of care and hospitality they showed us. I was initially meant to stay for only two nights, but I ended up spending an entire week at the property with my business partner. That alone speaks volumes about how comfortable and welcomed we felt. We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Sam, the Sales & Marketing Manager, for his great sense of hospitality, professionalism, and excellent customer relations. I highly recommend this property, and a very special shout out to all the staff mentioned above. You guys rock! Beyond the beautiful property and the beach, it’s truly the people who became such an important part of our experience. Huge appreciation to the entire management team, from top to bottom, for creating such a strong vision of hospitality and ensuring that it is reflected throughout every level of the team. We’re already looking forward to coming back very soon! Easily one of the best resorts in Diani and honestly, one of the best hospitality experiences I’ve had across the continent.
