Pinewood Beach Resort & Spa

I stayed at Pinewood Beach Resort last month for 5 days with my elderly parents and my teenage daughter. We all had an amazing time and very happy with our rooms. My parents had the garden view suites on the ground floor, where as me and my daughter had the room on the top floor, which was really spacious, clean and very comfortable. We all really enjoyed the food at the hotel and loved the different themes every night, which was always at a different of the hotel. We loved the Mongolian night and the food was delicious. It was unique and was situated on the beach. The staff were all amazing - very friendly and always greeted us with big smiles and always remembered us and what we liked. They were very accommodating with my elderly parents and they were looked after very well, by helping them with comfortable seats and also by bringing the dishes to them from the buffet. This hotel holds a special place in my heart, as I got married there 14 years ago. My daughter also had a lovely time and really enjoyed the pool and ordering her milkshakes everyday! Thank you Pinewood, we will be back.

Brilliant post safari 5 night stay. Really good food (especially local specialities at breakfast). Lunch and dinners were great. All staff amazing and so friendly, nothing too much trouble. Room comfortable and clean. Beach and sunbeds great. Pool suitably cool. Massive thanks to Moses at the beach bar, so patient, especially on a Friday and Tuesday nights when he is hit by dinner service at the beach restaurant as well as doing his usual job.

WOW! What a place. Tagged onto the end of an amazing 7 day safari, our stay here was the perfect end to this adventure. Warm welcome, where we arrived late at night and they still had a table laid up for us. Beautiful accommodation and the friendliest and most welcoming staff. We had a relaxing, restful time in these stunning surroundings. Swam in the pool, drank cocktails at the beach bar and thoroughly indulged in the amazing bountiful food. Many thanks and can't recommend it highly enough.

We had the best experience here from start to finish. It's a very well run hotel. Special welcome and escourted to our room with explanations on the way.The whole place is exceptionally clean and well cared for. The complex is set out very well with many different areas to sit at. There are 3 bars, lounge, pool and beach - with the beach bar being open all day till midnight. Everyone from the ground staff, chefs, house keepers, bar, restaurant etc deserve credit. We were especially cared for by Caleb and Phyllis from the beach bar and restaurant. Eunice and Wycliffe looked after us at breakfast. The plentyfull food is amazing with a fantastic choice catering for all types of eating groups. It is so thoughtful that dinner is served in different places so you don't get fed up eating in the same place. Our room was spacious and I loved the little shelf of books for you. Lovely beach walking with minimal harassment from the locals, who were actually all nice!

The situation is perfect, the meals excellent, but it is the staff who make this little paradise so idyllic. Nothing is too much trouble, so many little extra touches like flowers in our room. Caleb at the beach bar is the Best cocktail waiter, an ultimate professional. We were so sad to leave and intend to return next year.
