Severin Sea Lodge

No moskitos, everything clean & reliable, if you need sth. (like in my case a desk to work in your room), it’s delivered instantly! The food was different every day and let’s you taste all varieties of Kenyan and international delights! Highly recommend for families & all of those who would like to enjoy a quiet break outside the busy town. Also enjoyed that there was Beach Volleyball every day at 5, friendly (live) guards everywhere and diverse guests (including vividly colored geckos & small friendly monkeys).

I had a wonderful stay at Severin Sea Lodge from 15 to 19 October 2026. My room was comfortable, and both the fan and the air conditioning worked very well. The Wi-Fi was good across most of the compound, and the grounds felt safe and well secured. What truly stood out, though, was the people. Every staff member I met showed real passion for and commitment to their work. That included the security officers at the gate and on the beach, Stephen at reception, Peter at the concierge desk, Chef Charo and the restaurant team, Kassim from housekeeping, and the lifeguards. Every interaction left me feeling well looked after. The live music from the small bands each evening was something I always looked forward to. My stay was truly an investment in my happiness, and I would gladly return.

This was my second stay at Severin Sea Lodge, and once again, everything was wonderful. It is the perfect place to be pampered, with delicious food, beautiful surroundings and excellent cleanliness. But what truly makes this hotel special is its incredibly kind, friendly and cheerful staff. People make a place what it is, and here you feel truly welcome and at home. That is exactly why I chose to return. ❤️ A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for another wonderful stay. I’m already looking forward to seeing you all again!

A Beautiful Coastal Escape My stay at Severin Sea Lodge was an opportunity to slow down, embrace the beauty of the Kenyan coast, and enjoy a refreshing change of scenery. From the ocean breeze to the serene surroundings, Mombasa offered the perfect setting to unwind, reflect, and appreciate the simple beauty of life. Sometimes, all you need is a change of environment, the calming sound of the ocean, and a little time to recharge. Mombasa, you have been beautiful! ❤️
