Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives

We had the most amazing holiday at Atmosphere Kanifushi. The resort itself is just beautiful, our villa was outstanding, the food was fantastic, and the snorkelling was amazing. However, it was the staff at Kanifushi who made this holiday incredible. We were treated so well by everyone, they were all so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. A special mention though must go to Hansi, our Guest Relation Officer, who really did go above and beyond to look after us and and make us feel very special during our stay. We were celebrating both 30th wedding anniversary and a 60th birthday and Hansi really did help us to create some very special memories. Also to Adam, who looked after our villa and created some very artistic and clever anniversary and birthday messages on our bed. And to Latika, who looked after us in the Spice restaurant, who again went above an beyond to make our stay very special. We had the most amazing holiday and it is thanks to all the staff at Kanifushi for that. We really do hope we can return in the future.

Had a great 5 nights despite the weather not which was just unfortunate but it cleared up on the last two days. The bikes are a must as the island is spread out and it’s a great way to get around plus it’s just so much fun! Niyaz and the rest of the staff looked after us so well. The sea life is great here so did plenty of snorkelling off the jetty. We had a sunset villa which was beautiful. The food is the best we’ve had in Maldives. The little Sri Lankan food hut served true authentic Sri Lankan food but there is sooo much variety and fabulous quality food all day…we were completely spoilt !

It has been a great experience. Service has been exceptional, with Hansi being our guest relations officer. She's been friendly, professional and helpful throughout our stay. Staff in general is very friendly, they greet the guests and ask if everything is ok providing a welcoming atmosphere. Our water villa has been very clean, with reliable room service. The location itself provides for a calm, relaxing experience. We would choose this again. Food has been great, with plenty of options and exceptionally good a la carte options, including a vegetarian restaurant.

Outstanding and relaxing stay here. From the moment we were welcomed by Hansi, who looked after us so well every day, we had the best time. So much to do, fabulous beach villa, wonderful food and a great place to relax. And a terrific trip to the turtle sanctuary. Absolutely fabulous.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful holiday at Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives, and we would love to return. The resort itself is beautiful, spacious and offers plenty to do if you want it, but what really made our stay so memorable was the outstanding staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we were enjoying our holiday. A special mention must go to Hansi, our Guest Relations Officer. From the moment she welcomed us after arriving by seaplane, she greeted us with a huge smile and remained our point of contact throughout our stay. She checked in with us daily, keeping us informed about excursions, spa treatments and the different restaurants. One morning, she even picked me up early to take me to the other end of the island to watch the sunrise. I had casually mentioned that it was our 15th wedding anniversary year, and the following day our bed and bath had been beautifully decorated. Hansi clearly listens, remembers the little things and makes you feel special. She was outstanding and a real asset to the resort. As vegans, one of our biggest concerns when staying at an all-inclusive resort is always the food. We needn’t have worried here, thanks to some fantastic members of the team. When we first entered the buffet restaurant, Oscar approached me and asked if I needed any help. Once I explained that we were vegan, he immediately understood and showed me which dishes were suitable, while also asking whether the kitchen could prepare anything specifically for us. Throughout our holiday, he always came over to check that we were happy, even when we saw him working at Pier 6. He was friendly, attentive and made a real difference to our experience. The vegan desserts he arranged for us were excellent too! Kundan was equally brilliant. From some of the best vegan pizzas to delicious chickpea salads and my regular tofu scramble, he went out of his way to make sure we were well looked after. His personal service made visiting Spice for breakfast and lunch a real pleasure. We also had a lovely experience at Pier 6. One evening, we stopped for a nightcap and got chatting to Ibaadi about the menu. He took the time to explain the different options available to us as vegans. We were so impressed by his willingness to help that we booked dinner for the following evening — and had an amazing meal. We returned several times during our stay, and Ibaadi was always welcoming and friendly. For anyone considering Atmosphere Kanifushi as a vegan traveller, our experience was very positive. Having staff who understand your dietary requirements and genuinely want to help makes such a difference to relaxing and enjoying an all-inclusive holiday. Away from the restaurants, Prasad at the gym deserves a mention. I used the gym most mornings, and he was always there to welcome me with a smile and a towel. He knew the equipment well and offered some excellent advice. Our sunset water villa exceeded our expectations, and Amit did a fantastic job of keeping it pristine. My wife particularly loved the thoughtful touch of having a towel and slippers laid out by the bed at turndown. Even the small interactions added to the experience. Hasan, one of the buggy drivers, always greeted us with a big smile and a cheerful “Hello, boss!” whenever he saw us. These little moments, repeated throughout the holiday, helped create such a welcoming atmosphere. The resort itself feels spacious, with plenty of activities available if you fancy them, including tennis, paddle and pickleball. The snorkelling was incredible, and I was lucky enough to see reef sharks, eagle rays, hawksbill turtles and so many beautiful fish. The turtle rehabilitation centre was definitely worth visiting, although we could have done without the subsequent walk around the streets in the heat! Overall, we had a fantastic holiday. The beautiful surroundings, wonderful snorkelling, excellent food experiences and, above all, the people made it truly special. Thank you, Hansi, Oscar, Kundan, Ibaadi, Prasad, Amit, Hasan and the whole team at Atmosphere Kanifushi. You all helped make this a holiday we’ll remember for a long time. We’d love to return to this little slice of paradise!
