Cinnamon Dhonveli Maldives

We stayed in an overwater suite, and it was absolutely amazing. The suite was incredibly spacious and offered breathtaking views. It was cleaned twice daily by our friendly and attentive room attendant, who always did a fantastic job. We also enjoyed access to the exclusive Rehendhi Bar, where Suraj and the team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They served some of the best cocktails on the island and provided excellent service throughout our stay. We dined at Rehendhi Restaurant, which is exclusively available to suite guests. A special thank you to Chef Saha, who made us feel welcome on every visit, and to Ahmed, who always greeted us warmly and looked after us at our table. The unlimited laundry service was another excellent benefit. Senanayaka always returned our clothes beautifully cleaned, pressed and neatly folded, all with a smile. After a two-week stay, we returned home without any dirty laundry at all! Overall, we had a wonderful experience at Cinnamon Dhonveli and would highly recommend the overwater suites. The beautiful accommodation and exceptional service from the staff made our stay truly memorable.

Its a Nice hotel - the location is a 10/10 - Id say i have mixed feelings due to the reception staff - When we arrived we felt so unwelcome compared to the previous 3 times we have visited the Maldives (different hotels) there was 3 people standing there no waving or anything at all, they were like robots. we just got of the boat and said they said good morning then silent, walked to sit down we was offered a drink and towel - then did normal paperwork but i would say when we arrived i immediately felt disappointed by the lack of friendliness. the staff at the restaurants are amazing they are the reason the holiday was as good at it was and is honestly saving that hotel - they honestly accommodated for anything and everything- i cannot express how amazing they were enough. The food was really good and the room we had (ocean view room) unfortunately had ants and a sewage smell so they moved us with a free upgrade which was nice of them, the upgraded room was a water bungalow which of course the view was stunning but i noticed the water was a yellowy colour and again that sewage smell was evident in the bathroom - the location itself is amazing the water is so clear and the beach is clean. we were attacked by a Titan triggerfish near our hotel room steps which is no fault of the hotel of course but was terrifying. Id say its a nice 4 star and you will definelty have a nice stay, staff will ask you to do reviews while at the hotel so i think that's why so many of the reviews are dramatic by saying its excellent and 10/10. 3 of us came from London (3 adults). Overall we all had a nice holiday but i don't think we would come back purely based off the reception staff, feeling welcome at a hotel id say seriously will impact your stay, i think the management team a should review who they have front of house as a smile goes a long way, especially when everyone there has spent a lot of money to be there.

My sister and I bought my mother here for a holiday. The staff were so friendly like seriously couldn’t do enough for us. The beach was phenomenal. The sand was beautiful and the food was delicious. The team were very accommodating for all our requests and gave us a lot of information but were never pushy. They were a lot of couples but also young families and so the mixed crowd made us feel very comfortable I would say this location is suitable for honeymooners family holidays or just a lovely getaway. Unlike other all-inclusive holidays we have been on the drinks including the cocktails were very good and the staff went to every effort to make every experience special- especially Sattar who made a cute flower and towel arrangement on our sunbeds! We also went to a cooking class in the little garden which was a very special experience.

Very nice place the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend coming here both as a couple or with children. If you want to get away from cars and all other stress, this is the perfect hotel for you.
