Our stay at Kandima Maldives was nothing short of amazing. From the moment Anita and I arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome, valued and genuinely looked after. A special mention must go to Jonathan Peters and Yogesh Ram from the Senior Management team. Their attentiveness, professionalism and genuine care were exceptional. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was everything we hoped for. Their leadership is clearly reflected throughout the resort. What really stood out to us was the entire Kandima team. At every touch point, there was someone ready to help, with a smile and a genuine desire to make our stay memorable. It is the people who create the atmosphere of a resort, and Kandima should be incredibly proud of its team. I also want to give a very special mention to Sandeep at the Beach Bar. What a fantastic guy! His drinks were exceptional, but more importantly, his attentiveness, energy and genuine care made such a difference to our time at the resort. I have honestly never met someone quite so conscientious and committed to making sure guests are enjoying themselves. Sandeep is a real credit to Kandima. To Jonathan, Yogesh, Sandeep and the entire Kandima family, thank you for giving Anita and I such an incredible experience and memories that we will cherish. Well done, Kandima team! Our stay at Kandima was truly one of the best family experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed, cared for and, honestly, loved. Throughout our entire 10-day stay, there was not a single issue. Everything was simply perfect. What made Kandima so special was, above all, the people. The staff are absolutely amazing: warm, genuine, attentive and incredibly kind-hearted. We never felt like we were simply guests at a resort. We felt as though we were surrounded by people who genuinely cared about us and wanted our family to be happy. The way everyone treated our children was especially touching. We travelled with our two sons, aged 9 and 2, and they were treated with so much love and attention everywhere we went. The Kids Club deserves a very special mention. It was absolutely fantastic, and Noraa and Adila were wonderful with both of our boys. Knowing that our children were happy, safe and genuinely cared for allowed us as parents to truly relax as well. Our boys absolutely adored them. We also celebrated our eldest son’s birthday at Kandima, and the team made it truly unforgettable. From the cake, candle and singing to all the little touches and attention he received, they made him feel incredibly special. It became one of those beautiful family memories that we will keep forever. Our pool beach villa was absolutely fantastic: spacious, beautiful and wonderfully private. Having our own pool was perfect for the children, who spent hours splashing and playing in it, while the ocean was literally just a few metres away. Being able to choose between swimming in our private pool and walking straight into the Indian Ocean felt like a dream. The main pool was also fantastic, with plenty of activities and such a fun atmosphere. The breeze bar made it extra special with unlimited Prosecco 🤭. Kandima manages to have so much happening around the island while still giving you plenty of space to relax and enjoy the Maldives at your own pace. And the food! We were genuinely impressed. Everything we tried was delicious, beautifully prepared and of excellent quality. The menus offered a great variety, the portions were generous, and eating at Kandima was something we looked forward to every day. Thank you, Johnathan for bringing this amazing gastronomical experience to Maldives and managing it on our he top level!!! But what we will remember most is how Kandima made us feel. All four of us were able to completely switch off, relax and enjoy being together. By the end of our stay, none of us wanted to leave. We thank everyone and so happy that we used to know them 🤩. Ira, Lia, Jane, Malika and all the beautiful barmen and waiters! We already miss Kandima more than we expected to. It is very rare to leave a hotel feeling as though you are leaving people you have known for much longer than ten days, but that is exactly how we felt. Kandima didn’t just feel like a beautiful resort to us. It felt like family. Thank you to everyone who made our holiday so special and gave our children memories they will carry with them for years.
