Kuredu Island Resort & Spa

Ok this is hard as I enjoyed my time here but there is some flaw's so to start with we stayed in a beach bungalow very nice and plenty of space but we had no hot water in the shower during our stay the buffet food was average not that great and why can women wear a vest at breakfast and lunch times or biking tips but men can't wear a vest the sun beds for this place are very poor and it's very very expensive so take every thing and more because like sun lotion was 44-49dollars but it is a nice island but not for me I won't be back

It was our first time at Kuredu and it won’t be the last if we can help it. Everyone was respectful and so helpful. All we had to do was enjoy ourselves and relax. Thanks to Pratishya for all of her support and help when we were there. I give the resort a 5 star rating!!

We chose Kuredu Resort & Spa as it offered all the activities we wanted, snorkelling and swimming in crystal clear turquoise waters, walks, fishing, cruises to view dolphins and sunsets and a choice of restaurants to choose from. We enjoyed snorkelling as there was so much to see and explore. And there was a turtle feeding site right off one of the main beaches, what more could you ask for? Right from the get go, we had a wonderful welcome by Jean and her team, including a drummer, that made us feel very welcome and special. The check-in was smooth and efficient. We were allocated a host, our host was Sham who was our go to. She was full of energy and enthusiasm which was really refreshing. Nothing was too much for her, she always went over and above what was required of her and always delivered with a huge smile. We felt that we had our own personal holiday host. Our room was clean and well presented. There was kettle with teas and coffees as well as a coffee machine. The fridge was well stocked with a good selection of soft and alcoholic drinks (we had an all inclusive package). The variety of food in the restaurants was outstanding. The waiting staff, the chefs, the waiters as well as the bar staff at Bonthi restaurant were all very friendly and welcoming. Similarly, staff at the O Resort restaurant, chef Karthik, Wahid, Nizam, Jalli, Joyti to name a few were equally as friendly, respectful and polite. All staff around the resort were really friendly and polite, whether they were gardeners, cleaning staff, buggy drivers, reception staff or boatmen.  We had a fantastic time and would thoroughly recommend Kuredu Resort & Spa.

In October 2026, we returned to Kuredu for the second time, and this beautiful island in the Maldives welcomed us with the same magic as before. In fact, coming back felt like coming home. Kuredu is simply breathtaking – from the stunning white sandy beaches and swaying palm trees to the adorable bungalows, delicious food, beautiful pool and fantastic Kids Club. Everything is wonderful, and every corner of this island feels like paradise. But what truly makes Kuredu so special is its incredible people. The island’s greatest treasure is undoubtedly its wonderful, dedicated and genuinely kind-hearted staff. Every single encounter made our stay even more memorable. From the warm welcome accompanied by fantastic drumming to the personal island host assigned to each guest, the hospitality was exceptional from the very beginning. Our lovely island host, Mai, deserves a very special mention. She was incredibly kind, caring and attentive, and took care of every question and request with such enthusiasm and genuine warmth. We always felt that we were in the very best hands. A big thank you to the lovely buggy drivers, especially dear Manu – thank you for every single fun ride! You always brought a smile to our faces. The reception team was equally wonderful, always ready to help immediately with every question, no matter how small. Although we unfortunately cannot remember everyone’s names, we truly appreciated your kindness and helpfulness. We would also love to thank Vinoth and his colleague in the kitchen. Their warmth and friendliness made us feel that every meal was prepared with genuine care and love. And then there was our wonderful waiter, Azim Ali Khan! His service was outstanding throughout our entire stay. He was always friendly, polite, attentive, quick and genuinely welcoming. We looked forward to every meal with him and felt so well taken care of. Thank you for making our dining experiences so enjoyable! Our daughter absolutely loved spending time at the Kids Club, and we are incredibly grateful to Menuka, Seliy, Suju, Diveena and Neethmi. The activities were varied, creative and fun, and the ladies were so loving, patient and caring with the children. Our daughter felt comfortable and happy there, and she couldn't wait to return. Thank you for making her holiday so special! The Prodivers team also deserves a huge compliment. Their professionalism, knowledge and passion make every dive a truly unforgettable experience. Thank you for sharing the beauty of the underwater world with us! And, of course, we want to acknowledge all the wonderful people working behind the scenes – in housekeeping, the kitchen, restaurants, maintenance, island cleaning and so many other essential areas. Your hard work, dedication and attention to detail are what make this little paradise run so smoothly. Even when guests don't see everything you do, your efforts make an enormous difference to their experience. One small disappointment was that, this time, we were not accommodated in the Bonthi Restaurant area as we had been during our previous stay. This was especially sad because our incredibly warm and loving waitress, Resma, worked there, and we had taken her so deeply into our hearts last time. We missed seeing her very much. At the moment, quite a lot of construction work is taking place on the island. We fully understand that this is sometimes necessary to preserve and improve its beauty and atmosphere. We were immediately and uncomplicated offered the option of moving to another bungalow, and we were very grateful that we no longer had the construction noise nearby. Unfortunately, it is still common for guests to reserve the pool loungers simply by placing towels on them, while often not returning to the pool for hours. This means that other guests have no chance of finding a free lounger. The plastic loungers on the beach are unfortunately not in good condition either, and many of them have cracks in the frame or in the fabric. Kuredu is much more than a beautiful island. It is a place filled with warmth, kindness and people who genuinely care. The combination of breathtaking surroundings, excellent facilities, wonderful food and, above all, such exceptional staff makes this resort truly outstanding. We had an absolutely dreamlike second stay, and we are already certain that we will return. Leaving was just as difficult as saying goodbye to a place that has become so special to us. The management of Kuredu can consider themselves incredibly fortunate to have such a fantastic team. Please make sure that every single member of staff knows how much they are appreciated. They are the heart and soul of this island, and they are the reason guests don't just enjoy their holiday – they create memories that last a lifetime. Hi, I’d like to share our impressions. We are so glad we ended up on this wonderful island. The staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable, always greeting us with genuine smiles. Everything is kept clean and tidy. The view from room 301 is absolutely stunning. Our guide, Abhi, is polite and quick to respond to any questions. On the evening before our departure, our table at the restaurant was decorated with fresh flowers—it was such a lovely, beautiful touch, and my wife was beaming all evening. We saw so many new types of fish, a stingray, dolphins, and even a small shark! The room was cleaned thoroughly, and the grounds nearby were even raked—we’ve never seen such a high level of care before. Even a single rainy day couldn’t spoil our vacation. Thank you for a wonderful trip!
