Machchafushi Island Resort & Spa Maldives, The Centara Collection

Right from the day we reached the resort, everything was absolutely perfect. We stayed in the Family Overwater Villa with three kids. This resort has the most friendly staff I have ever come across. Right from Ranjit in Housekeeping, all the serving staff,(Jasim, Shafiq, Ajith,Suji) bartenders, Chefs Ripon, Sharma, Navnat, Atharva, each and everyone went above and beyond for us. The kids club run by Eesha is brilliant. The girl in the souvenir shop is nice as well. We renewed our wedding vows and the ceremony was beautiful. We will definitely return.

A delightful dolphin-watching trip, where we saw a pod of dolphins.

Very good experience in dolphin cruise，ship crew are very helpful and friendly

Great experience. We really enjoy the excursion, we saw many dolphins and an incredible subset. Jaman and all the team were really professional

We had an amazing stay at Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa Maldives from Sep 22 to Sep 26,2026, and a huge part of our wonderful memories goes to our snorkeling coach, Fittey! Fittey guided our whole family during our snorkeling trips. He was exceptionally professional, patient, and made us feel completely safe and relaxed in the water. Thanks to his great guidance and sharp eyes, we were lucky enough to swim alongside beautiful sea turtles and reef sharks! On top of being a fantastic coach, Fittey also took some incredible underwater photos for us, capturing moments our family will cherish forever. Thank you so much, Fittey, for your passion and hospitality. You made our Maldives holiday truly unforgettable! Highly recommend taking a snorkeling tour with him if you visit Centara Grand!
