From the moment you arrive the staff make you feel so welcome. All areas are clean and well maintained. The food is amazing and I would highly recommend all of the à la carte, The Blue Penny was outstanding. The bar is large with indoor and outdoor seating, the service could be a little hit or miss and the ‘entertainment’ was the only let down. I would book again in a heart beat.

I would like to express my disappointment with our 2-night stay at Belle Mare Plage. On our first day, my girlfriend specifically requested almond milk in her latte at Lakaz due to digestive issues. Unfortunately, she was served regular milk, which caused severe bloating and left her bedridden for an entire day. I even had to get medication from the hotel infirmary. What made matters worse was that the waiter insisted it was almond milk when questioned, only for the manager to later confirm otherwise. We felt misled, which is unacceptable for a five-star hotel. On the second day, we received a complimentary bottle of wine, which was appreciated, but wine was not what we needed. We expected accountability and proper attention to our concerns. Overall, a very disappointing experience, especially for her first visit to Mauritius.

Spent 10 days at the resort. This place was incredible, from our upgraded room , pool areas and various restaurants. The choice of food was varied and excellent. All the staff were so kind and attentive, none more so than Deepak , who kept us going with drinks and snacks around the pool and beach . I played golf every day between the two courses, and what an experience. The condition of both were immaculate, the staff very attentive, with the all inclusive extending to the courses making it an unforgettable experience. This was a truly wonderful holiday , just what the wife and I needed after a challenging year . We will be back .

We enjoyed a beautiful two-week holiday, staying in Beach View Suites 320 and 321 on the third floor. From the moment we arrived, it was easy to see why this resort is considered a little slice of paradise. The location is stunning, with a beautiful beach, excellent pools, and superb facilities throughout the resort. The food was consistently excellent, with a wide variety available every evening. We stayed on the all-inclusive package rather than paying extra for à la carte dining, yet still enjoyed wonderful meals in Deer Hunter, La Citronelle and Lakaze. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The bar service was equally impressive, with a good selection of rums on offer. My brother particularly enjoyed Foxtoberfest on the beach, which was a fantastic event and a real highlight of the trip. As keen golfers, we played eight rounds across both championship courses. Tee times were flexible, occasionally a little too flexible, but the courses were immaculately maintained and offered stunning scenery along with challenges suitable for all golfers. My husband travelled with a medical condition, and I would especially like to thank Stephanie from Guest Relations for taking great care of his medication throughout our stay. Kailash, the buggy driver, was always nearby with a cheerful greeting and a warm smile. A special mention must also go to Soumyajit, the wine sommelier, whose knowledge and recommendations were first-class. Boohoo, our lead waiter, provided exceptional service and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. We were delighted to be invited to a canapé and cocktail evening with the Senior Management Team, which was a lovely touch. Several members of the management team also went out of their way to assist with queries during our stay. Our sincere thanks to Suzanne, Jean-François and Sebastian, the Golf Director, for their help and hospitality. Overall, this is a truly wonderful resort offering beautiful surroundings, excellent food, outstanding service and entertaining golf. We returned home with wonderful memories.

Genuinely, one of the best holidays we have ever had. Truly grateful for everyone at the Constance Belle Mare Plage for allowing us the experience of a lifetime. Special thank you to Akshada at Customer Relations, Jay and the two great head chefs at the Lakaze beach restaurant, Arrone at the Indigo restaurant, Daryil and the rest of the guys at the main bar, Kunal at reception, Eggman and Pooja at the La Citronnelle restaurant, Lata at the beach bar and Lena at receiption, to name just a few. Everyone was outstanding, world-class service, highly recommended. Will definitely be back. Thank you once again.
