Constance Belle Mare Plage Mauritius

This was our third year in a row at Constance Belle Mare Plage and equally good this time as our first!! We are a golfing couple and meet our friends here to spend a fantastic two weeks on the two golf courses and beautiful beach. The food and specialty restaurants are first class and a particular favourite of mine was the Shrimp Pad Thai in the Indigo at lunchtime. The staff at both the complex and golf courses are just lovely and genuinely caring and like friends who remembered us from our previous visits. To conclude: if you are a golfing couple it doesn’t get much better than here …….. we regularly bump into guests who have returned up to 20 times !!! This should be a first class indicator of the value proposition offered by Constance. We do not hesitate to recommend and look forward to visiting what feels like our second home & happy place.

Superb location and fantastic staff. Food is the best you’ll find. Weather for us was very mixed but some sunshine everyday. Only down point was our leaking balcony and two rooms being refurbished near ours causing dust and noise during two days of our stay. This was surprising given hotels usual attention to guest comfort.

We spent our second week in Mauritius at Constance Belle Mare Plage, staying in one of their villas for our honeymoon. The villa itself is stunning, the beach is gorgeous, white sand, turquoise water, the whole postcard. But what turned a great stay into an unforgettable one were two people: our Villa Master Preetam and Supervisor Sharma. From day one, Preetam ran the villa like it was his own home and we were his most important guests. He kept the place immaculate, brought afternoon tea without us asking, checked the boathouse each morning so we'd know right away if watersports were running, and quietly handled every logistical detail so we never had to waste time on anything. The service was luxurious but never intrusive. He understood exactly when to be present and when to give us space, which on a honeymoon is everything. What set the experience apart was how personalized it was. When we asked about things to do or places to eat, we didn't get the standard tourist rundown. Preetam and Sharma gave us real recommendations, things they clearly knew we'd enjoy, and they were right every time. The restaurants deserve their own mention. Blue Penny Cellar was a standout, and the wagyu steaks still come up in conversation weeks later. We also did the floating breakfast in the heated pool, which sounds like it could be one of those Instagram-only gimmicks. It wasn't. Preetam actually suggested we enjoy the photos and the moment in the pool, then let him move everything to our fridge so we could head to a proper full breakfast afterwards without anything going to waste. That one detail tells you everything about the level of service here: thoughtful, practical, never just for show. By the end of the stay, my wife had a folder full of beautiful photos, every single wish checked off, and a villa master who somehow always knew what she wanted before she said it. I'm fairly sure she considers Preetam the real MVP of the honeymoon, and I'm not in a position to argue. If you're considering the villa at Constance Belle Mare Plage, do it. And if Preetam is your Villa Master, you're in the best hands on the island.

I really really enjoyed my time at the hotel it was a wonderful experience the beach was so beautiful the food was excellent and i really was happy that the hotel makes their food halal and it was so tasty and the other restaurants were so classy and their food was so delicious i really liked the staff receptionists especially yacine i really hope that one day i can get back to this amazing hotel
