Heritage Le Telfair Golf & Wellness Resort

We had the most amazing trip and stay with Heritage le Telfair. Vinen was outstanding, always so helpful, we did not want for anything all week. All the staff have gone above and beyond to make our stay a fabulous experience…we will most definitely be visiting here again ☀️❤️🐬🌊

Had a nice & relaxing getaway at Heritage le Telfair for a few days with my parents to celebrate dad's birthday. Booked direct online with the hotel and the staff I dealt with prior to arrival including Rhonda, Suren, Vedita & Hansy were all very helpful with attending to requests and queries including having 2 rooms close together. After arriving we were met by our lovely host Heena, who assisted with our check in and arranged any dining bookings for us. We had a Mauritian buffet for dinner at Annabella's one evening, and dinner at the O Grill another evening a la carte, and the food was great. The buffet breakfast at Annabella's had good options including fresh made omelettes and yummy crepes which I had every day! The hotel also had an online app which was really useful where you could just send a message for any spa facilities bookings or other types of activity reservations. Special thanks to our host Heena who was very organised, efficient and looked after us really well with any details or questions during our stay. She also arranged for a birthday cake to be sent to dad's room on the date and time of choice which was a nice touch from the hotel! The main pool area had a nice chilled vibe and was warm and pleasant to swim in. The rooms were well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We also received a complimentary beach bag and hat in the rooms as part of our stay which I used whilst there and a nice souvenir to take home. Thank you! :)

Heritage Le Telfair was a lovely part of our Mauritius holiday. The resort has a distinct charm, with its colonial-style architecture, beautiful grounds and relaxed atmosphere. The setting in southern Mauritius is spectacular, with the mountains, lush greenery and the sea coming together to create some truly beautiful views. We loved our beach access suite, which was beautifully designed with a lovely blend of colonial charm and understated elegance. The spacious layout, thoughtful details and warm interiors made it feel both luxurious and inviting. Being able to step straight out towards the beach was the cherry on top! One of the things we particularly enjoyed was the variety of experiences available beyond the resort itself. The golf facilities are a great addition, and having access to restaurants at Heritage Awali and all the golf clubs, as well as the beautiful Le Château Bel Ombre, gives you plenty of dining options to explore. Our favourite was the breakfast at La Reserve Golf Links and the breakfast at Annabella’s. The beach and peaceful surroundings make it a wonderful place to unwind, while the wider Heritage estate offers plenty of opportunities to mix things up during your stay. The heated adults pool was the highlight though. With a dedicated adults only wing, this resort felt more suited for adults than Heritage Awali. We tried the golf initiation experience, which was a fun little addition to our stay. It was a great way to get a feel for the sport, especially for beginners, and enjoy the beautiful golf course and its surroundings. A nice touch that added something different to the overall experience! We also visited Chamarel during our stay, with the entire excursion conveniently organised by the resort. It was a lovely experience and a great way to explore another part of Mauritius. Staying at Le Telfair made the trip really easy, given how conveniently located the resort is for visiting Chamarel, and having everything arranged for us made the outing completely hassle-free. Overall, we loved the combination of old-world charm, stunning natural beauty and the freedom to explore beyond the resort. Le Telfair has a character of its own and made our stay in southern Mauritius truly memorable.
