This is our 3rd visit and it continues to wow us and surpasses expectations in ambiance, luxury, facilities and friendliness. The staff, on all levels, couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating and special mention goes to our host this year,Melvin ,who’s assistance has been exemplary and who has gone that extra distance to make our stay all the more special. This is a truly special hotel in a magical setting- thank you for taking such good care of us once again and we will be returning.

Magical hotel made even better by the wonderful service and attention to detail. Our beautiful suite was spotlessly clean and we had a bottle of fizz and a cake to welcome us on our arrival. The real beauty of this hotel were the staff who worked tirelessly to make our stay a really special time. Ashni was our designated liaison and arranged everything we needed via a WhatsApp group, from booking spa and yoga classes to restaurant bookings, golf and anything we wanted in our room, she would sort it as quick as a flash. Daksh was another memorable member of staff who made us feel at home in our favourite restaurant Ginja. He explained the menu fully and what we were allowed as part of our package, which was virtually everything. Ashley was the head waiter at the O Grill at Le Chateau Golf Club. He was so friendly and funny and made us feel special on our visits in the evening after a round of golf. The only thing I would say is they could do with more room around the place where the ladies prepared eggs and omelettes in Annabelle’s restaurant, where we had breakfast every day, as it could get a bit confusing at busy times. I would definitely recommend the Gourmet Bliss all inclusive upgrade which we took full advantage of. All in all a perfect holiday Thank you all at Le Telfair

Truly beautiful hotel situated right on a picture perfect beach. Hotel grounds are lovely and well kept. We stayed in a junior suite were the room from our room was WOW talk about a room with view. We ate at the c beach club which was nice and lunch at the la palmier which was delicious . We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary , special thanks has to go Melvin who helped us with everything we needed. Spicy and Ademola from the cavendish bar who really made us feel Welcome with a smile, chat and laugh every day. And Venna who greeted us with a smile and friendly chat every morning at breakfast. I stayed here for 10 days, and it was a fantastic experience. Being in Bel Ombre, the vibe was relaxed, and the resort itself was really idyllic. I stayed in a beach-view room, and it was spectacular. The rooms were big, and the bathroom area was perfect. I loved the colonial-style housing, but if that isn't your taste, a 5-minute walk would take you to the more African-style Awali resort (which is essentially part of the same resort as the Telfair one). Noor, who helped make sure that I had everything I needed, whether that was anything to do with the room, booking taxis, or booking restaurants or just anything in general, was excellent. The level of service he provided was one of a kind and made the trip truly special. The activities (the activity centre and C beach) and the staff there were some of the best parts of this trip. They offered a variety of activities; many were free, and those that required payment were fairly priced. I would like to give thanks to Jeremy, David, Lionel, Kenny, and Joanne, who were absolutely fantastic and friendly. However, a big special thanks to Jordan and Shania. I met them early on in the trip, and they were the most welcoming people I have met while travelling (albeit Mauritians in general are some of the friendliest people I have met). Jordan held the bike tour, which was amazing. He was informative and enthusiastic about sharing his culture with me. I really valued a tour like this from a local Mauritian, as if I had stayed in the hotel, I wouldn't have learnt so much about the deep-rooted culture within Mauritius. Shania and Jordan were also there when I did the bamboo fishing (which was something I had never done before), and again they gave me so much information during our discussions about the history and rich tradition on the island. A truly wonderful service! Lastly, the food in each of the restaurants (Le Palmier, C Beach Club, Les Chatuex, Annabellas and Ginja) was spectacular. They each offer different types of food ranging from asian to Western food to amazing buffet meals to high fine dining. The different themed buffet nights at Annabellas were the most pleasantly surprising. I am normally not a fan of buffets as food can be sitting there for a while and go stale and cold; however, the quality of each buffet night was incredible. One night they had a BBQ night with a whole roast pig; you could watch them prepare which was cool. Overall, the stay was amazing, and I will definitely be making a return trip. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in Mauritius with attentive and friendly staff.
