We’ve just come back from an eight‑night stay at Long Beach Hotel in Mauritius as a family of four (two adults and two children aged 11 and 15), and it genuinely exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The first thing that struck us was how immaculate the entire resort is. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and our room was spotless every single day. It’s the kind of place where you notice the care that goes into keeping everything pristine. On top of that, every member of staff we encountered greeted us with a smile and a hello. It sounds simple, but it creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere. One of the biggest highlights was the all‑inclusive package. Unlike most all‑inclusive resorts, Long Beach allows you to enjoy à la carte dining every night — and even at lunch. That alone sets it apart. The food was consistently excellent across all three restaurants: Italian, Asian, and seafood. We didn’t have a single meal that felt average. We also treated ourselves to a sushi platter at the paid‑for HASU restaurant, and it was absolutely worth it. We booked four day trips with Tahen, a local taxi driver, and he was fantastic. He’s knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly flexible — happy to adjust plans based on what we wanted to see or how long we wanted to stay somewhere. He added a personal touch to each outing that made exploring Mauritius even more enjoyable. The sports offering at the resort is another strong point. Our son ended up playing volleyball every evening, and a special mention has to go to Sebastian, who made him feel welcome from day one. It’s those small interactions that make a big difference when travelling with kids. If there’s one downside, it’s the temperature of the pool. It’s cold — noticeably so — and could really benefit from heating. Combined with the wind at this time of year, you shouldn’t expect constant sunshine. But honestly, that was the only real negative in an otherwise fantastic stay. Overall, Long Beach Hotel delivers a level of service, cleanliness, and dining quality that’s rare in all‑inclusive resorts. It’s friendly, flexible, and genuinely family‑focused. We left with great memories and would happily return.
A beautiful hotel, perfect for relaxation, switching off from everyday life, and recharging your energy for new adventures.
Just returned from 10 days at this fantastic hotel. A fair way from the airport(1+ hours) but on arrival found it was worth it.Room was large & faultless, more like a suite with all the comforts & very quiet. Atmosphere was relaxed with options for activities if wanted. Staff were out of this world and in our opinion made it a memorable holiday. A special thanks to the following staff - Raj,Elvis,(managers) Dhiray, Anastasia,Melissa and Celine & Neha ( restaurant staff) Deepu (bar) & finally john the porter. A credit to the hospitality industry. Once again thanks for a fab time.
Great place for a holiday nice location, best beache, warm beach waters, infinity pool on the beac, excellent rooms, good amenities and multiple dining options to keep you hooked.
We had such a wonderful experience at the Kids Club! The staff were incredibly friendly, caring, and attentive, and they made the kids feel comfortable and happy from the moment they arrived. A very special thank you to Gaille and Elicla — they were absolutely amazing! So sweet, welcoming, and genuinely caring with the kids. Their kindness and positive energy really made the experience extra special. The kids had so much fun and were always excited to go back. Highly recommended for families! ❤️
