LUX* Belle Mare

I spent a wonderful time at Lux Belle Mare from September 10th to 20th, 2026, and I must say it was a truly fantastic experience. I had a great feeling from the very first moment. At the reception, I was welcomed by very skilled and charming ladies who showed me around the entire hotel and personally accompanied me to my room, which they introduced to me in detail. Such a professional and warm introduction instantly won me over. The gastronomy at the resort is top-notch. The food in the restaurants was incredibly delicious and beautifully prepared. I highly appreciated the personal welcome and seating at the table during every single restaurant visit. My huge thanks go to the entire staff who served me, as well as to the chefs who prepared the food with such care. I would especially like to thank Mr. Dave, who looked after me during lunch. He was extremely kind, helpful, and made me feel truly special. The beach staff also made a great impression—they were very pleasant and absolutely professional. Big thanks also go to the housekeeping staff who took perfect care of my room, and last but not least, to the gardeners. The hotel garden is maintained with immense care and looks simply fantastic. During my stay, I noticed that the hotel is mostly popular with couples, and I was probably the only one there traveling completely solo. :-D However, that made me appreciate even more how wonderfully everyone looked after me—thanks to the great atmosphere and the amazing team, I didn't feel lonely for a single second. We had an absolutely incredible stay at LUX Belle Mare*, and what made our experience truly unforgettable was not only the beautiful resort, stunning surroundings, wonderful food, and exceptional hospitality, but most importantly the amazing people who looked after us throughout our stay. A very special thank you to Rekha and Babita from housekeeping. They were absolutely wonderful — warm, attentive, thoughtful, and incredibly hardworking. Our room was always beautifully maintained, and the little touches and attention to detail made us feel genuinely cared for. Their kindness and dedication truly stood out. We would also like to give a huge thank you to Vaisnav, Julio, Dave, and Deo for their outstanding service throughout breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their professionalism, friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine smiles made every meal an experience to look forward to. They were always attentive without being intrusive and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their service truly reflected the exceptional hospitality of LUX* Belle Mare. The Indian food and service deserve a special mention as well. A heartfelt thank you to Govind, Mahabeer Singh, and Govind Singh for making our dining experiences so memorable. The food was delicious, authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. It was wonderful to experience such a fantastic selection of Indian cuisine while being so far from home. Their passion and care were evident in every dish and every interaction. And a very special thank you to Jenny from the Celebration Team. Jenny went above and beyond to make our special moments even more memorable. Her warmth, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and thoughtful approach made us feel truly celebrated. She added such a personal touch to our stay, and we will remember her kindness for a long time. As for LUX Belle Mare itself — what a beautiful resort!* From the breathtaking beach and turquoise waters to the stunning surroundings, fantastic restaurants, comfortable accommodation, and incredible service, everything came together to create a truly special holiday. But what really makes this resort stand out is its people. Every interaction felt warm, genuine, and personal. A beautiful resort is one thing, but a resort becomes truly exceptional when its team makes you feel welcomed, valued, and at home. That is exactly what we experienced at LUX* Belle Mare. Exceptional, attention to detail above and beyond. The culinary team consistently inspires, a special compliment to their Sommelier. The staff is genuinely warm and accommodating. If you value quality coffee, their espresso bar (on-site roasting) is noteworthy. Do I dare to say this is the finest 5* Hotel in Mauritius. Without mentioning names, many other top regional hotels can learn a thing or two from you. Bravo

We’ve had a lovely dinner. The location is just wonderful and the ambiance (balanced music with live DJ) is unmatched. Our water Sawan was truly helpful and had a great overview and looked after us carefully. Thanks

We stayed at Lux Bel Mare for 2 weeks. It has been a very perfect expience for our family. 2 parents and 3 adult kids. The hotel is very luxurous in an understated way - totally perfect. The food is a special chapter of top quality ingrediences prepared to perfection. The gym has good variety of machines of good quality (Technogym), and the instructors at the gym deserves top of the top recommandation - both competences and personality. We have only one recommandation for improvement. The hotel needs a smoking policy to ensure that smoking only is allowed in special designed areas. We were bothered by smoking both in the restaurants (smoking done right outside and smoke blowed in) and on the beach and by the pool.
