I am currently staying here to celebrate my birthday with my husband but so many things we t wrong. We had to wait more than 30mijs to check in. Had to literally do a queue to wait no one to attend us. Staff only helped Non Residents/non mauritian. Everywhere in the hotel it smells badly sewage. Hotel is very crowded and food served at tea time is cold. The fritters were uncooked, flour batter still oozing out. We had the lateral sea view with king sized bed but bed is double bed for couple instead of king size Stair Corridors have no light

The hotel is in the perfect location for a sunrise hike up to Le Morne, only a 5 minute drive to the trailhead. The property is super big and many rooms have gorgeous seaviews. As the hotel is on one of the windiest shores of the island, there is lots of kite surfing to do or at least watch. The meal buffets were great with freshly prepared food and lots of options. Their sports bar is open 24/7 so one can grab a bite even before a 4am hike departure. Loved that they have a gym which is open 24 hours. Resorts are not cheap in Mauritius but this was definitely worth the extra for the hike experience.

The food was good but we did not know that the restaurant should be booked earlier. My son aged 26 was satisfied with room service and food but according to him the hotel lacks some activities for youth. Overall we were satisfied. Nice breakfast, drinks and dinner including the desserts. Staffs were nice.
