The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa Mauritius

We stayed at The Westin Turtle Bay Resort & Spa in Mauritius for 8 days at the beginning of September for our honeymoon, and we had an absolutely amazing time! From the moment we arrived, the experience was wonderful. As a honeymoon surprise, the hotel welcomed us to our room with a beautiful flower arrangement, a fruit platter, and champagne—a truly lovely and thoughtful touch. The Room & Cleanliness We stayed in a Suite from the 3rd class, and it was spacious, impeccably clean, and immaculate. The room featured three balconies with stunning views of the sea and the beach. A special shout-out to the housekeeping staff—especially Taslima, who was so kind, sweet, and attentive. They provided twice-daily service, including both morning cleaning and a wonderful turndown service in the evening. There are also plenty of quiet, beautiful corners around the resort, plus a designated adults-only pool for extra relaxation. Activities & Entertainment The hotel is packed with activities and attractions; honestly, you don't even need to leave the resort! We didn’t know that when we booked the hotel. Every morning, a schedule of the day's events is published. There are free guided tours twice a day, a wide range of water sports (some with free lessons), fitness classes, bicycle rentals, and even archery. We want to give a massive shout-out to the activity guides Luthfee and Elva, who were super polite, incredibly friendly, and patient. They gave us lessons that felt almost private, recommended great places to visit, and took care of everything we needed—always making sure we had good equipment and plenty of water. Also, a big thank you to Emilio at the water sports area, who gave my husband fantastic, friendly service during laser sailing! And his supervisors for the kindness every single day :) We were even invited to a special cocktail evening hosted by Adam the bartender, who was extremely charming, warm, and fun. The spa and massage was also incredibly good atmosphere, I took the 90min massage . I wish I knew I have 30% off all the treatments beforehand. Dining & Dietary Needs (Kosher Options) The food at the main buffet restaurant, Seasonal Tastes (The Gourmet Pantry), offers a great variety. There is a strong Indian food influence, so you need to enjoy Indian cuisine, but there are plenty of options for everyone. The labeling of the dishes is exceptionally helpful for anyone with dietary restrictions or food preferences, which made it very easy for us to navigate. An extra special mention goes to Chef Nicola, who is simply the kindest and most courteous person. The moment we mentioned that we keep kosher, he immediately asked what would suit us and personally created a customized salmon dish for us every single evening! He always greeted us with a smile and personally served our meal. Even on his day off, he made sure the rest of the kitchen staff knew exactly how to prepare it for us. Also a shoutout to chef Deepa for her kindness. Summary In short, we enjoyed every single moment and cannot recommend this resort enough. It was the perfect place for our honeymoon!

Fantastic resort did not fall short with anything all expectations met. Amazing steak and lobsyer night at Beach Grill, the mystique pan asain menu was astoinding for choice, where do they find these great chefs, food all round was amazing. the whipser pool the attendents Lovish and Rajeev were an amzing pair of gentlemen where nothing was too much trouble. Hope to return soon. The spa treatments were top notch and provided the relaxion we were looking for.

Had a wonderful time with my friends at Kangan. The team Ratan, Aki, Rehul, Priyanka, Rosha were very friendly and accommodating to our requests! Thanks to them we had a great dinner! We got to do Sabrage to honour our gathering. Thanks a ton! :)

Me and my partner stayed at the westin hotel for 10 days, our favourite restaurant on the resort was Kangan the food was superb would hight recommend the charcoal tiger prawns, sheik kabab, butter chicken and the butter paneer curry both were 10/10. Also amazing service from Roshan HERE and Kangan made our meal 10x better with his amazing service he’s a top fella!!!

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed at! All the staff around the resort were so kind, friendly, helpful and really welcoming. They really made you feel cared for and were really attentive. A few of the staff members name we remembered was Jameel , Alvin, ravi and rayan. All the staff were incredible. The pool staff were also great, friendly and attentive. The room had a sea view and was spectacular. The breakfast was great and a lot of range. The restaurants were all so tasty, we visited kangan many times who served really great Indian food. The views around the hotel were amazing and there was such a calm feel around the resort. The spa was also really great. The taxi service was also really helpful. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend and will be returning!
