Veranda Pointe aux Biches

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Veranda Pointe aux Biches. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Mauritian warmth, and the incredible service from the team made our experience truly special. A huge thank you to Nitesh, the On Duty Manager, and Yogen, the Front Office Manager, for making us feel so welcome and ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Sunny was always friendly and helpful with our bags. Muz and Ludovic from Guest Experience went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. A special mention must also go to Shiv, whose energy and entertainment added so much fun to our time at the resort. Harel, the Restaurant Manager, and Rajiv, the Executive Chef, deserve enormous praise for the fantastic dining experience, delicious food and excellent hospitality. The resort itself is beautiful, relaxed and full of character, but it is undoubtedly the people who make Veranda Pointe aux Biches so special. Every interaction felt warm, genuine and personal. Thank you to the entire team for an incredible Mauritian experience. We left with wonderful memories and would happily return. Highly recommended! 🌴

We had a wonderful stay at this recently renovated four-star property. The hotel is built around the concept of “barefoot living,” and you feel it from the moment you walk in. The combination of sand, natural wood, stone, water features, fountains and beautifully maintained pools creates a very relaxed, tropical atmosphere. The landscaping is genuinely one of the highlights of the property. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and very thoughtfully designed. But what impressed me most was not that everything was perfect — because no hotel is. There were a few small hiccups during our stay, but what really stood out was how the staff responded to feedback. For example, water was not initially available at reception. After I mentioned it, the very next day a water cooler and glasses were arranged for guests. That kind of responsiveness makes a big difference and shows that the team genuinely listens. The food was good overall. Since the overwhelming majority of guests seemed to be French and British, the cuisine naturally leans towards French and European tastes, with plenty of British/European influence. We enjoyed it, although having a few more Indian options would be a welcome addition, especially for guests from India. We also tried the four-course set dinner at the Sandy Lane restaurant, which was a particularly romantic experience. The food was good and the setting was lovely. The only criticism would be the pace of service — our four-course dinner took nearly three hours, which felt a little longer than necessary. A slightly faster service would make the experience even better. But ultimately, this hotel is about the overall experience rather than any individual detail. The beach, landscaping, architecture, pools and natural materials come together beautifully. The entire property has a very chic, relaxed and incredibly photogenic character. In fact, it is so picturesque that you almost don’t need to go looking for Instagram spots elsewhere — the hotel itself feels like a destination. A beautiful place for a relaxing Mauritius holiday, particularly if you appreciate good design, tropical landscaping and that effortless barefoot-resort atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What an amazing hotel, such a beautiful place and the most amazing staff I’ve ever met they are always willing to help always greeting you when they see you and so polite, the rooms are immaculate no issues whatsoever and amazing views. Me and my partner also had fun doing towel art wars with the cleaning staff which was fun 😂Cannot fault this place at all I will definitely be coming back, beautiful location.
