Firstly ignore majority of five star reviews mainly written by staff A la cartes--5 stars Staff----5 stars Maintenance team---5 stars, 3 seperate issues with room all reported on app dealt with within hour Rooms---4 star, modern but few issues that dropped point , usb inop , various lights inop and shower leaks onto main room floor Yucatan buffet --3 star quiet during week but like a school dinner hall at weekends and queue to get in at b/fast,lunch and dinner food okay Swimming pools ----4 star and quiet pool cangrejo very relaxing but a family with kids were kicked out werent causing any issues but lifeguard said adults only which wasnt correct a disgrace Beech unfortunately full of sargassum , only part being cleared was at coba beach but didnt stay long as couldnt watch slave like conditions workers were clearing sargassum fully clothed going along sea with fish nets clearing with angry looking gaffer looking down on them from pier----1star Bars During day main pool bars open all others closed , drinks very weak---3 stars At night only 1 pool bar open with 1 barman and queues also ran out of main drinks each night and no restock, biggest issue was drinking out of poorly washed plastic cups for 14 days bring your own-----1 star Main problem was for me lack of seating at evening , people having to sit on sun beds or stand absolute garbage, raised issue and management dont give a toss ---0 stars Entertainment good but repeated weekly ---3 stars We went to coba a few times bar area a lot better and more relaxed and better drinks Snack bars Truck----- nothing special and when busy very messy also a race between you and four legged pals who eats the grub first----- 3 stars All other snack bars closed Overall enjoyed relaxing holiday during day but night time ruined for us and wouldnt go back Dont listen to generic reply they will pass on info for improvements 😂

Just don’t… the staff lies to you, they’re under staffed, under construction, you’ll wait 2hrs or more for a buffet table… you’ll be lucky if you can even book your INCLUDED restaurants! The smell of sewer gas overwhelms the whole living area, the cockroaches on the ceiling are very unpleasant… save your money and save your special occasions for something better!! The beach is a steep drop into seaweed and rock… no lounges, no umbrellas, just a dirty shoreline.

Well, we’ve been coming here for the last few years and it’s always been a memorable one every time better than the last!!!!!

Well where do I start … we been here 14 nights with friend and have had the most amazing experience . From the moment we arrived checked in was easy upgraded us as we was here to celebrate friend anniversary. Bags taken to the room. Staff so welcoming friendly . Room spotless cleaned every day fridge stocked daily . Plenty choice with restaurants and buffet. So well looked after when booking excursions use the Cancun adventures Fresh towels every day round pools very good choice of drinks . Entertainment was brilliant the entertainment staff was so good got everyone interacting . Free water sports was great even hired jet bikes. Only 1 down side and that was evening bar struggled as the hotel was still rebuilding the main bar after storm. Thank you Tulum we had an amazing time

Disappointing. Many restaurants you couldn’t book into despite trying to book 10 days in advance. A number of diners in the days were simply never open. The main lobby bar under refurbishment including the arcade machines for the kids. Operator’s response, classed as ‘down season’ in the T&Cs, and didn’t feel that it was necessary to make you aware. Given this there was not available seating in the evening meaning we had to sit on sunbeds. Room was incorrect upon arrival. Also bed was wet, kids bed not made up. They eventually agreed and moved us, really rude and dismissive. Food at times was cold and overcooked in the buffet especially. The hotel provided day passes to locals, there was up to 800 locals on our second week meaning they flooded the minimal facilities open and pool area, so despite being ‘down season’ even though we booked peak school holidays, they allowed for hundreds of day guests. Tour operators response, ‘that’s the hotels prerogative’
