Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa

We just returned for our vacation in this hotel . Its is a nice hotel with a beautiful pools and beach to have long walks with nice ocean with very little sargassum .Restaurants were ok specially steak house , Japanese and Indian . The buffet was showing lack of variarities and sometimes repetitive . We were told the hotel was 50% capacity ( the reason for lack of different foods ) . We had a terrace loft room with jacuzzi with decent view . Big room with nice bed. The issue was getting towels for the two washrooms and soaps for the showers. We found that the room was not clean properly couple times and had to call reception to resend somebody to cleaned again.Customer service was ok just few people showing not very enthusiastic manners when you try to talk to them. Shows at night specially the magic show was good . If you want to go to restaurants with shows you have to pay extra ( 100 dollars per person which is excessive ) due the amount of money we already spent for the trip. We wanted to have a couple hours pass to visit the TRS hotel facilities for our future wedding options and the wanted 50 dollars from us .! Everything is money in this hotel.! We been in many different hotels in playa mujeres in the last 5 years and never had these kind of issues. We love Mexico but probably we will not return to this hotel. Regarles we want to thank Oliver y Omar our servers in the pool for their hard work, Gustavo Ceme cleaner maintenance worker in the pool area ( very nice guy and hard worker )Yuli waitress at the buffett for being very attentive and friendly and Alejandro making nice food in the mornings for us.Special thanks for the chef Elias de la cruz for the delicious octopus and ceviche and churros he prepared with passion..You are a great person with big heart and will remember you. Gracias hermano.!

The resort is beautiful and there is so much to do. We stayed in family selection, our children loved the kids club. It was our first time ever leaving them in a kids club, and we are so grateful for them. You can tell the staff at the kids club genuinely care. Monse, Ursula, Nicole, Olga and Camilla to mention a few, we're amazing. My kids barely wanted to leave, the kids club helped them build their confidence, my children even took part in the evening shows rehearsed at the kids club. Next vacation I take solely for relaxation, will definitely be here

We went to the Mexican restaurant which is called La Adelita and we ordered ribeye tacos and churros and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was super nice. The lights were dimmed and service was great. Our recommendation.

Unfriendly staff, dirty rooms, horrible dinner reservation system. Breakfast staff would not get us water or coffee.
