Riu Cancun

First stayed here 2025, this is our second visit from the UK - we had a great time. Rooms are slightly dated is the only downside- The staff here make your holiday- Irma, Alejandro and Jesus were the perfect hosts to name a few! We would come back in a heartbeat- cannot complain about anything...would definitely return 100%

Celebrated my 40th birthday here and it was a fantastic trip. This is my 6th time back to the property and it's always a delight. The Kulinarium is my favourite restaurant there.

Location good, near Coco Bongos and Hooters and Senior Frogs and Monkey Business bar. Complex and pools and beach clean. Enough sunbeds though not gonna be enough peak season. Food good and choice of 3 walk in restaurants at this time of year. Rooms a bit dated but OK. Staff and cleaners helpful. Daytime entertainment if you want but evening a bit poor. Night time Rui Party at sister hotel were fun.

Everything was great! Not much of a beach but the pools made up for it. Bartenders were exceptional!

The staff was amazing. Food was great at the Japanese restaurant. Buffet was hit or miss each day. I didn’t like that they close the pools at 7pm. My room had a funny damp smell to it. The walls are super thin, i could hear people in the hallway and in the rooms next to me. The resort is a lil outdated. I would say you get what you pay for.
