Riu Ventura

We have been to several resort chains, the service and warmth of the staff made all the difference at Riu Ventura. The design and layout out for this hotel gives every room a great water view. Food in both the Buffett and restaurants is excellent. There are several pools even one designated to adults and one just for the little ones. The activities staff have you covered with games, dance and theme nights . There is a free shuttle to more theme parties at Riu Caribe . Airport shuttle is available . Highly recommend .

Rooms were spacious, but only adequately furnished. Food was only average, no standouts. One notable employee was a bartender at the lobby bar - Ramon. On a scale of 1-10, an 11.

Unfortunately, the beach was full of seaweed during our stay. I wish the front desk had informed us about the option of visiting RIU Caribe, which has a much better beach. We only found out about this possibility on the last day of our visit. The hotel staff did a great job promoting the parties and activities at RIU Caribe, but they never mentioned the beach as an alternative. Having that information earlier would have significantly improved our experience.

I booked this trip to celebrate rate my 40th birthday. This was my first experience booking an all inclusive. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was very attentive, the accommodations were clean and spacious. The views were amazing. The pools were perfect. My only complaint is the food. It was lacking in flavor but there was a lot of variety. All in all it didn’t take away from how much we enjoyed our stay. Would absolutely book here again.
