Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancún

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Amazing 40th Birthday Trip! My wife and I had an incredible stay at Secrets Maroma and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate my 40th birthday. The biggest highlight of our trip was Uriel from the entertainment team. We had some great conversations with him throughout the week, and he went completely above and beyond by surprising my wife and me with a private painting session. He knew how much I love my favorite football team, the Cincinnati Bengals, and I got to paint a Bengals-themed piece to take home. It was such a thoughtful and personal surprise and easily one of our favorite memories from the entire trip. Uriel is genuinely a great guy and someone we won’t forget! I also have to give a huge shoutout to our concierge, Marco. He was absolutely fantastic. He was always available whenever we needed anything and made sure we were taken care of throughout our entire stay. His service was top-notch. The beach massage was phenomenal, and renting a Bali bed was absolutely worth it. The pools were beautiful, and the poolside staff worked incredibly hard and provided great service every day. The food at the restaurants was great as well. We ate very well the entire trip and had a great experience everywhere we went. Overall, Secrets Maroma gave me an amazing way to celebrate turning 40. Between the beautiful resort, great food, pools, beach, incredible service, and especially people like Uriel and Marco, this was a birthday trip my wife and I will remember for a very long time. Good food, nice people, spa was very average for the cost. Beach is not swimmable due to seaweed (not their fault), and hotel is very noisy from late afternoon far into the evening. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation, I might recommend you do your homework.

We had an amazing time at Secrets Maroma. The staff was very caring and helpful. The food quality and options exceeded our expectations. All the facilities, including our room were very clean and well maintained. We definitely recommend Secrets Maroma for a quiet and relaxing vacation.

A great experience overall. Preferred club was worth it to us. The restaurant had really good food and the lounge was updated and very nice. Higher end spirits available there. We were there every day before dinner for a cocktail and a snack. Our concierge, Guillermo was awesome. Dry helpfil staff all around. Construction wasn’t much of an issue at all. Will def be trying to go back after it’s complete to see the upgrades. Room was as nice as any we’ve ever stayed. Beach cabana was worth extra charge. Where we spent almost all our days. Seaweed was a bummer, but they were doing their best. That was the only criticism. Did take a trip snorkeling at the reef and the water was crystal clear out there.

We had a great experience at this resort. This was our second stay almost 1 year apart. This 2nd stay was better than our first. Guillermo our concierge went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed. We’d see him around the property and he’d always greet us by name and give us some tip. He was great. Our room was clean every day and always stocked with our favs. The entire staff was great - always smiling and making our stay memorable. It really helps our stay when everyone seems to enjoy being there! Give this resort a shot - it’s a great choice.
