Secrets Maroma Beach Riviera Cancún

We did our honeymoon there, incredible place! Food was delicious and the staff were all amazing. Shoutout to the fresh tuna carving, BEST fish I have ever had. We were probably some of the youngest at the resort but it's a perfect place if you want to chill instead of party.

Secrets Maroma is a special resort. We have been to a few other resorts and keep talking about our 2 stays here. It truly is the best resort for our type of traveling. We are in our late 30s and not a party crowd type of people. We go to relax, and sit by the pool and beach with options to participate in activities when we choose to. They have a great entertainment schedule and lots of options for all ages to participate in. The service is top notch and if you put a little work into getting to know them they feel like family by the end of your trip. Food quality and variety are great we spent 8 nights here and still had other food options on our list that we wanted to try, but ran out of time. Ruben and Luis at Barefoot Grill/pizza station make some top quality dishes that are restaurant quality available with swimming trunks on, not to mention both are top quality humans as well! They have a large construction project going on, but never once did we feel it affected our vacation. Yes you could hear it at times, but didn’t affect how we relaxed at the pool or beach. This resort will be even more special once the new pool and sports bar are completed.

Our 5 days vacay was lovely and we really enjoyed beach and activities, snorkeling was my favourite, you can see so many different fishes . Drinks and bar stuff are the best, so as entertainment team! Renovations was so loud and dusty, also at night time, some hours was not even possible stay outside. Wish they told us before we booked. Hotel is very big and busy, not sure we will be back.

My husband and I spent 6 days at Secrets Maroma celebrating our honeymoon and were truly blown away. The resort is absolutely beautiful. Only about 30 minutes from the airport. Beautiful decor and so clean everywhere. The room was sensational. The service was exceptional. We want to give a huge shout out to: Eduardo at the Preferred Club Lounge for always taking the time to chat with us before or after dinner at the lounge and being a friendly and happy face to see everyday, Roberto the concierge for building 25 for making us feel extra special during every interaction and making us feel well taken care of by always referring to us by our last name and making sure we were happy with everything, the entertainment staff specifically Isabel, Emiliano, Angel "Brown Sugar" for making every activity throughout the day super fun and lively and for taking the time to chat whenever they had a second, and Ruben one of the chefs at the pool for cooking up some delicious quick bites and being so attentive. All of the food options were so delicious and high quality. So many good options to choose from so that you don't feel like you are eating the same meal every time. The restaurants were such a good vibe. Overall an amazing place to get away, meet new people, especially other honeymooners, eat delicious food, have good drinks, and feel well taken care of.

We just got back from 7days at Secrets Maroma Beach, and what a tremendous resort! The grounds were beautiful. All the vegetation was grown and mature, much was still blooming, and it was all immaculately maintained. A good variety of restaurants with tasty food done in a very timely manner. At every meal, everything was served quickly, but we were never rushed, and always had time for our conversations. And the food was delicious! Except for the Hibachi tables, no reservations were ever needed, and we were immediately seated for every meal. We got a Preferred level swim out room in Bldg 26. For the extras it comes with, I would recommend the Preferred room. Spacious room, comfortable bed, great bathroom, and everything was very comfortable. Bars and nightlife was very good. We went to a couple of shows, they put out a great spread for Monday night football, and we watched a couple of poolside shows. But hands down, the best part of the trip were the people. It seemed that the goal of every person was that we were happy. They attentive without being too much. They always said “Hola!” They took care of everything, then always followed up to make certain we were satisfied. I must take this opportunity to call out a couple of people. Talia was our Preferred bldg concierge. She was so nice, knowledgeable and got everything done quickly. And then she’d search us out to make certain we were happy!! Emiliano (Nano) was our guide for the Timeshare presentation. While we didn’t sign up for the plan, he made the time spent enjoyable. Jimmy was our waiter at our beachfront dinner. His service was great and his conversation was better. Finally, Marvin was our waiter at our pool cabana. He got us everything, kept checking what we needed and what he could do. At one point he went across the resort to the coffee shop to get us chocolate ice cream! We loved Secrets Maroma Beach, and with the new pool, bar and restaurant opening in Dec/Jan, we hope to come back very soon!
