Everything was wonderful. Our butler Linda was very attentive and overall fantastic.

Alec did such an amazing job challenging the pilates. We had so much fun with Alec, he used to music to make the class more challenging!

September 4th-14th Located at only a 30-40 minute taxi transfer distance from Cancun airport, TRS Coral is ideally situated in Costa Mujeres and delivers quality and a welcoming atmosphere right from the outset, as we have now come to expect from TRS hotels. The whole site is slightly smaller than what we were used to from similar resorts we have stayed in the past but that we counted as a bonus as everything can be more easily located. In terms of the rooms, they were stylishly laid out, clean and well maintained with king-size memory foam mattress on the bed and spacious balcony overlooking the adults only pool and a view of the sea. There were provisions for coffee making and a regularly well-stocked mini-bar with drinks and snacks. We only visited the adults only pool while we were there because of convenience but there is a much larger pool by the Palladium side. There were always loungers available and provision of clean dry towels, as was a similar story with the beach which was only a two minute walk from the pool area. The beach area is combed daily in the morning to remove any washed up seaweed, the sand powder white and if you're waited on by Joanna, you will be very well looked after. The only drawback to the beach area while we stayed was that the toilets were out of action, but I don't believe this will be a long term problem. The adults only pool has it's own swim-up bar (as the Palladium pool does as I believe) and is tended to on most days by the very wonderful Jafet who called me Tom for the entire stay as I think he misheard me upon introduction, but that was fine - I answer to most things these days and have been called much worse! However, he runs a tight ship and is handles all people at the bar fairly and courteously. We ate at the a la carte restaurants every night except for two nights and they were all superb with the exception of the Japanese, which sadly fell far short of our expectations in terms of quality and overall experience. Our meals were served luke-warm and the noodles were not cooked correctly. To add to this, our waiter didn't seem very attentive, while his colleagues seemingly stood round chatting. We did not let this one poor experience mar what was before and afterwards, culinary magic in Tentazione, La Boheme and El Gaucho though! There are also plenty of options for snacks throughout the day either by the adults only pool or via Nest or the Pizza Stop. We ate at Capricho for breakfast most mornings and never found that there wasn't anything we couldn't have or were short of something different to try, as you can eat a la carte using the menu from the Palladium app or from the buffet. Alan in particular is a credit to the breakfast staff in Capicho, as he is a ray of sunshine and always put a smile on our faces! We also occasionally enjoyed visiting the Extra Time sports bar for the delicious buffalo wings served by the beautiful Diana. In terms of entertainment, The P.O.P animations team encourage you to get involved with pool-side and a la carte activities and we enjoyed cycling and archery with Rosy. Special mention should be made to Martin from this team who was always bright, encouraging and chatty which is important when coaxing shy people to get involved with the activities. He is certainly an asset within the team and coaxed us into the bingo night which was a lot more fun than I thought it would be! Final special mention should be made with regards to our butler Amelia, who went above and beyond when tending to our needs. She secured all our a la carte dining requests, adapted a work-around when the Palladium app developed a glitch with regards to the cycling but also put together a romantic setup in our room for our final night which was both wonderful and thoughtful. I came on a solo bday trip and it was amazing. Mel, my butler, made my experience sooooooo amazing. Very beautiful place, amazing food, friendly staff, and the kind of luxury a girl needed!! My swim out was beautiful, room was very spacious and clean, and I can not give enough thanks to my butler!! The spa was the best bday gift I gave myself, the massage, hydrotherapy and views on the 2nd floor were to die for!!!! The Chic Experience was also amazing. I only did a weekend trip but will be coming back for an extended stay and that speaks volumes as I never visit the same place twice.
