Iberostar Bellevue - All Inclusive

Recently stayed at this resort for a week, it’s in a great location for exploring the Budva Riviera and Kotor region of Montenegro. An easy work to Becici beach, you do have to pay for sun loungers which is one of the reasons I haven’t give it 4 stars I feel at an all inclusive that should be included on the hotels beach area. The hotel is exceptionally clean poor area always kept super tidy and housekeeping kept the room lovely and clean with fresh towels everyday. Food lots f choice for breakfast lunch and dinner we ate at the terrace restaurant as it had a lovely view across the bay. Couldn’t fault the food for mass catering , team that worked in the restaurant were happy and friendly. We were on block one with a lovely ground floor room which had a lovely terrace area to sit out on with a pool view. Room was large with plenty of space to put things away. The other reason I have give it 4 stars is when in block one you very near to the Latin Bar on the beach walk, this is a great bar and the entertainment is great buttt, the music is incredibly loud till 1am in the morning every night and this unfortunately interrupted my sleep every night. Although not the hotels fault it’s is worth considering when requesting block 1 that although it makes the hotel entertainment not as loud you are then right near all the beach bra on the beach front which are very loud to late. All in all I would recommend because of the location.

First time visit to Waves Bellevue travelling as a party of 10. First impressions were how large the hotel complex was set over 3 blocks surrounded by well kept gardens in a beautiful and scenic setting by the sea. The checkin was fairly quick with a detailed explanation of how to get around, restaurants/bars opening times and clear explanation about how the sunbeds on the beach were run by a private company so you would have to pay for the beds. The room was well presented, clean and spacious with a lovely balcony/comfy seats. Only down side to this was that there is no divider between our neighbors on both sides so you are all sitting on the balcony together with no privacy. Not a big problem just an observation. Our room (2231) was in block 2 and very quiet in the evening. Yes, the hot water did run cold then hot but we got use to it as the week went on, best times to shower about 4pm and 9:30am when everyone is at breakfast! Pools very clean and the morning activities such as aqua aerobics very entertaining and good fun. Pool bar has a good situation above the pool and gives great views of the grounds and the beach. Drinks were good, we all liked the Mojitos and Pina colada's for cocktails and the local house white/red wine was very good considering its on tap. Food, standard fare, some days offering were better than others but all food was fresh and well presented. Didn't see any flies in the restaurant while we were there. The scambled eggs were particularly good considering the amount made, they used real eggs not powered! There was plenty of fresh fish on offer most days and the dessert offering was plentiful also. Lots of salad options and the fresh fruit was of a good quality, the pasta/pizza was very good also and worth a mention for the variety offered. Snack bar had lots of fresh food turned around quickly so nothing was sitting about for very long, excellent place to eat at lunch if you didn't want to visit the formal dining rooms. We all felt that maybe a second entertainment area for possibly disco/dancing/music only would have been great as a second choice of entertainment. Also more toilet blocks needed, one by the main pool would be more convienant than having to walk to the toilets by the entrance to the snack bar in your wet swimsuits. There is a problem with wasps/bees, two of us got stung while there, not sure how they can resolve this as they are attracted to the self serve drinks machines at the bars but also by the drinks cups next to sunbeds and seating areas. Would recommed the Piano bar the views are stunning drinks are 50% off not included in the all-inclusive but worth a visit and the little terrace bar which sits just above the little hotel shop and over looks the stage is lovely and cool in the evenings. For any football/sports fans, the beach bar has a TV which does show football games/sports, you just have to ask the bar man to put them on for you if available. Over all we had a great experience, beautiful setting and plenty of restaurant/bars options outside of the hotel if you wanted a change of scene/food. Budva is beautiful, the old town is definetly worth a visit during the day and night some of our party walked to Budva there and back just over a mile and enjoyed the scenic route along the coast. Would recommeded this hotel but just be aware that Tivat Airport when departing can be a little chaotic, smallish departure hall and not a lot of space to stand, very few seats and only one toilet block. Suggest that you check-in then go back outside until an hour before your flight so that you have space and fresh air. Also only one expensive coffee shop outside so suggest taking food and drinks with you for departure. The airport allows you to take up to a litre of water through to departures so you don't have to ditch it before hand.

Second stay at this fantastic hotel and not disappointed in the least. Hotel is set between the towns of Budva and Becici, both lovely and both walkable. Bus stop up the road to get about and the tunnel cuts a longer walk off Budva. Stayed in block 2 last year but upgraded and stayed in sea view room in block 1 this time. Well worth that extra bit of money. Rooms and corridors have carpet so very quiet block. Couldn’t hear neighbours or people walking past our room. Rooms kept spotless with fresh towels daily. We stayed in room 1504, near the far end of the corridor. Shower did go from boiling to freezing but have found this problem in many hotels we have stayed in around the world. Every area of the hotel and gardens are clean and well maintained. We all loved the pools and never had a problem getting a sun bed when we wanted one which was usually after lunch and we were a group of 11. There are the usual idiots that get up at dawn to reserve a bed that they won’t be using for hours but you get that in most hotels. Did use the beach a few times and yes you do pay for the sun beds. Food is amazing and very varied and we enjoyed everything we ate with many theme nights happening also. Kids loved the waffles and chocolate fountain theme nights. Every member of staff were helpful and friendly and nothing seemed to much trouble for any of them. We absolutely love this hotel and Montenegro is so beautiful we will without doubt be returning. I don’t understand the bad reviews, so go, make your own mind up and have a fabulous holiday.

Just returned from a fantastic stay at the Iberostar Waves Bellevue hotel in Montenegro. Montenegro is a beautiful country and the hotel reflects this. The hotel is located in a bay flanked on 3 sides by mountains with the Adriatic Sea on the fourth side. The hotel is spotless throughout. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The room we had was in Block 2 on 5th floor and had a sea view. All rooms are provided with a glass carafe which can be filled with filtered water from the machines on every floor. Our towels were changed daily and the hotel provided shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. There is a good variety of food on offer at all mealtimes, with themed nights showcasing specific food e.g. Mexican, Italian etc.. and the staff work very hard clearing tables quickly and re-setting them. The pool area is very popular and there is the usual scramble for sunbeds early morning! Having said that there are plenty of sunbeds within the grounds with easy access to the pools. The hotel beach also has sunbeds, but these are franchised and cost between 15 and 20 Euros per day. Pool towels are available with a 20 Euro deposit per person, refundable at the end of your stay and these can be used on the beach. There are showers at the pool and on the beach. From the beach you can walk along a promenade around the bay on which there are lots of bars and restaurants. We particularly liked the Latin Bar just outside the hotel where there was Cuban style dancing and delicious cocktails. You can also walk into Budva through a short tunnel accessed from Building 1. The views of the coastline are lovely. We loved staying at this hotel but there were a couple of negatives and I am sharing these to present a balanced review. Our shower was very temperamental, the temperature went from freezing cold to boiling hot throughout the time it took to shower. We reported it and the maintenance man changed the mixer taps but it made no difference. Speaking to other guests revealed that this was appeared to be a widespread issue. Please be aware if you have children as the water could get really hot. The other possible negative for some could be the evening entertainment noise levels. The stage is right in front of Block 3 and although the entertainment ends at 2300 please be aware that the volume is extremely loud. This may be a factor to consider once again if you have children or like to retire early. We had a great holiday overall and would definitely recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when returning to Montenegro. Standards are extremely high and all the staff work really hard and are very helpful. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in and we are seasoned travellers.

Location is not fare from budva center,directly on the beach.Very good service start from reception till restron personel,tasty food and large chose.Super active whole animation team members,extra thank,s to Kate and Denis for they attention .
