Iberostar Bellevue - All Inclusive

As others have mentioned, major road works which made a 30 minute transfer 90 minutes but obviously not the hotels fault. We went as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) for half term. The Iberstar is a pretty hotel and in a fairly good location as only a 20 minute beach front walk to the old town. We were fairly lucky with the weather with 5 days of good sunshine although by 2:30 the whole resort is in the shade and is really chilly. The bars are outside and were freezing in the evening. We sat in jumpers and coats. My big disappointment was the total lack of evening entertainment. This is usually a big part of our holiday but unfortunately a play list every night and the entertainment team would dance along to a couple of tunes. We’ve never had so many early nights on holiday as we went back to our room to play card games and try to get warm!! We were in Block 1 and were told these were updated rooms so can’t imagine what block 2 and 3 are like as we found these rooms quite standard rooms. We were on the first room and rooms below had large terraces and some of the floors above us had huge balconies but ours was a normal size. Food was okay with 2 choices of buffet restaurants however we felt it was exactly the same choices every meal time. We love AI hotels and found the choice of food so limited here. The hotel seems to cater for some over night excursions so suddenly the resort was packed with over night guests. One tour was predominately males and made myself and 2 teenage daughters feel very uncomfortable, especially as one was videoing on his mobile phone all female guests - including girls, as they walked by. Even when staff were informed they did nothing to stop him. We headed to our rooms super early that evening! We also found some of the restaurant staff quite rude as they would barge past us and stand blocking food areas while chatting to each other. The last few years we have been to Turkey so wanted to try a different country but if I’m honest - spent the week regretting our choice. Montenegro is a beautiful country but not sure I’ll be back…

Great hotel, very nice staff from the reception team to the cleaners. Rooms a little dated but everything was tidy and clean and didn't leave you feeling like you needed anything. Amazing view of the mountains and the bay from the balcony. Food in the restaurant was good for an all inclusive and the selection of drinks was great. You could pay a small fee for premium drinks in the piano bar which was good value for money Overall a great base to enjoy the charms of Montenegro 🇲🇪

We have just returned from a week away at the end of the season. Two adults and two teens. We had 2 double rooms with interconnecting door which worked out well so we had two bathrooms. We originally had a room on the 4th floor of block 1 with a semi sea view and view of the garden. After 2 nights I did have to ask to be moved as the noise from the service area woke me up several times a night. Reception staff We so accommodating and despite having 600 new guests checking in on that day they did switch us to the 6th floor and a mountain view. I slept well for the rest of the week. The food here is likely the best we have ever had in an all inclusive. Lots of options for everyone of all ages. The meat on offer daily was impressive from Beef, chicken, pork, veal amongst others and plenty of veggie options. We don't eat fish but did notice a huge amount of fish options. Breads, ice creams fruits were on offer for every meal and snacks. The ice cream is amazing, along with the pancakes, waffles and the chocolate fountain. The drinks and cocktails on offer were a great variety. We found most of the guests to be English but maybe this was a reflection of the UK October half term dates. Locally there was plenty to do, boat rides, harbour, lovely coastal walks. We walked to the old town of Budva and spent the day mooching about taking it all it. There is plenty to do locally. Overall we had a great week and as a family recommend this hotel. The staff work really hard and the gardens are so beautifully kept.

We travelled with Jet2 for a 3 night stay at the end of the season. There are roadworks on the way to the hotel and so there was a delay getting there, it took about an hour and half. The hotel itself is nice. The cleaners work very hard and so it is really clean. The pools are nice, but need more sunbeds as always. It is near the beach, and so you can swim or sunbathe there- but if you want a bed then there is a charge. The food and restaurants are nice, food was nice and usual standard for all inclusive- but could do with better warmers or a microwave. Lots of nice cakes at breakfast. Entertainment was not really up to much- but it was end of season. There were no real shows just bingo and dj or music nights. We were in block 1 (think used to be c) priority with sea view. Room was nice and terrace lovely- however needs more light in the room- it was very dark. And needs nice patio chairs- they were wooden and uncomfortable. Ours was a nice block and near to spa etc. Staff were nice. Budva old town is very nice. Taxi was about 8 euro there through hotel but 20 on the way back! There is a walk to it, if you mobile. It was a cheapish deal for us and so nice for what we needed.

This is our second visit to this hotel, just wanted to be back to Montenegro as we just love it. We arrived early and had 3 rooms split over 2 floors of the main building (we did ask for rooms near each other but hey ho). They could do with a bit of a revamp but we're very clean, cleaners were always about but we only used them 3 times for our 10 night stay as we dont change our bedding at home everyday so why would you on holiday?! The restaurants are absolutely fantastic, each of the main 2 have a special each night and always plenty to choose from. The pizzeria style one was perfect for kids round the pool to grab a quick bite but we preferred to eat in the restaurant at dinner time too. The mini pools were freezing, however the main one was absolutely fine. Only one day we struggled to get beds round the pool. We aren't the type of holiday makers who sit by a pool anyway, we hired a car from the airport and was out most days. Special mention has got to go to the entertainment staff (especially Edi) who made my little boy (also Eddie) holiday. He worked tirelessly with his team round the pool with darts and bingo and also the shows each night! Thankyou. We love this hotel and will be back in a few years Im sure as we just love Montenegro and its people.
